We stopped here on our way out of Taos on a Monday morning because most things in downtown Taos were closed. The chocolate croissant was delicious and chocolaty warmed up. The spinach and feta croissant was not the best. The dough of the croissant was delicious but the spinach and feta inside wasn't great. The spinach was bitter and the feta didn't heat up inside the croissant. The cauliflower cheesy soup was AMAZING and the chicken burrito wasn't too heavy and was the perfect size for a quick breakfast.

Quaint little place that serves great coffee and has a great selection of pastries, pies, quiches, sandwiches and even dips. If you get a breakfast burrito, ask for the green chili salsa! The line is constant in the morning, but it goes fast enough. Totally dig this place. Stop by if you're in Taos.

I LOVE KoKo's -- I just got a Savory Moroccan Chicken pie... moroccan pulled chicken with raisins etc. all folded into puff pastry.. and not skimpy on the filling -- at all -- so good. I have been going to Koko's for years for my morning cappuccino and scone -- people are great !! Coffee is good as are the pastries.

The heavy set tall lady, brown hair. older lady was very rude. I think she owns the shop. There's a sign that states 3 people are allowed In the shop yet she rushes everyone out with any attitude and says "wait outside ill bring it to you". I was with another customer and that lady wasn't rushed out. Favoring certain people huh? I couldn't even wear a face covering It had to be a regular mask. Having said all that I couldn't purchase any food without the correct face mask. Why have the shop open If you people are going to go In full panic mode and rush everyone out. We can't even wait for our stuff

Being an avid yelper, I always keep an eye out for five star places. Unfortunately this one let me down- they were out of sandwiches, croissants. The check out person- was very sweet- but did not know what flavor the pastry was. Got a zucchini fritter which was ice cold. I know covids made everything tough for people, but hard for me to justify five stars for koko.

So I have to be completely honest and say that I have never walked into this deli to get food. I have also never paid for my meal. The only reason I have tasted Koko's is because they donated food to the hospital I work at as a nurse during the Covid pandemic. The food is fresh, filling an absolutely delicious. I will definitely be going back for more food once restaurants are open regular hours

Koko's is my regular coffee shop in Taos. I don't drink coffee, but they have many non coffee options. My regular drink is the iced Moji Tea made with hibiscus tea, mint leaves, lime, and simple syrup. So yummy! The food offerings are super tasty, too. They offer a small deli counter of prepared salads, meatloaf, chicken, soups, etc. Koko's has a large selection of homemade pies, bakery items, and refrigerated items, too. I stop in for breakfast often and either get an almond croissant or breakfast burrito. My husband likes their lattes.
