Triad Gymnastics was founded by Tom & Donna Moretti in Ankeny in 1997 with the goal of supporting the mind, body & spirit of each student. Triad grew rapidly and in 2005 moved into their current facility becoming Triad Kids Campus, whose mission was 'to be a relentlessly positive force in the lives of young people'.
Over the course of 20 years, Tom and Donna were blessed with amazing staff members, athletes, parents and community support which enabled Triad to grow far beyond what the Moretti's dreamed possible. In 2017, Tom & Donna retired, selling their business to their friend Bryon Hough. Since 2017, Triad has continued to be a top children's activity center.

Services
Triad offers a wide range of recreational classes for kids from 1 year to grade 12. Our instructors will help your child develop their skills in a safe and fun environment. Whether your child is new to gymnastics or a long time student, we'll help you find a class designed to fit their level of readiness.
There is a $35 Annual Registration Fee (per family) charged for new students, then annually thereafter if the student is still enrolled. Triad Attire/Dress Code: Female gymnasts must wear a one-piece leotard or tight fitting shorts and a t-shirt covering mid-sections for safety purposes. Please no sport bras and shorts only.
The XCEL team program is a perfect fit for gymnasts who have the desire to compete but also have commitments and passions outside of gymnastics. Like our Junior Olympic (J.O.) team, the XCEL team is a USAG (USA Gymnastics) program. XCEL offers a more flexible schedule while still providing an opportunity for girls with potential in gymnastics to compete without an overwhelming the time or financial commitment.
Triad's Girls' Junior Olympic team is a USAG (USA Gymnastics) program that consists of 10 levels of progressive gymnastics skills and routines. We understand that because participation and advancement through Triad's team program requires a large time, emotional, and financial commitment, this may not be an appropriate program for every child.
Triad's boy's gymnastics program is designed to give boys an opportunity to improve their strength, flexibility, and skill development. It doesn't matter whether you are the next world champion or simply trying to get stronger. Our goal is to give each individual the opportunity to excel to their fullest potential.

This place has saved my son. My son is autistic and I was so worried about him going to school and if people would understand him (speech delay) we started him here when he was two and now he is four. he begs to go. If school is not in session he cries if we drive by. The teachers and the staff are absolutely amazing. They are so understanding and so helpful and patient. my son now talks more than he ever did before and I am a firm believer it’s because of how they handled him in the classroom. now my daughter will be starting there this year and I am so excited. If you are looking for an environment

Good class for my youngest, in Gymbugs. 5 star for classes. However there are too many classes for the space. Preschool classes are being wedged between level 2+ classes. I've seen so many near-misses injury-wise. Too many classes start at the same time. Staggered start times, every 5-10 minutes would also help.

It's been a good place for the kids to tryout gymnastics. Our son is in the beginner boys class and really seems to be enjoying his experience. His instructor is enthusiastic and seems to really care about encouraging and rewarding the boys when they reach a goal or make good progress. Our daughter is in a younger class. Wish the class sizes were a little smaller, so the kids could learn faster. Current cost for one 55 min. session per week: $65/mo. + $20 yearly registration fee. Multi-student discount available.

My family loves bringing our kids to Triad. My nephew attended for a number of years and now my son has started with Tot Time. He has so much fun attending class and looks forward to it every week. All of the teachers and director are such a nice friendly bunch. We plan on enrolling our son every year.
