ColorAuto Detailing opened in Grand Junction, CO in 2014. This professional detail shop was the vision and business adventure of local Colorado, Veteran Owner, Paul Heckman. Paul opened ColorAuto Detailing to provide the valley with an auto detailing business that cared about cars the way a car lover would care for their own car.
At ColorAuto we offer a range of professional, very high quality detailing services to achieve specific results that an owner may require. Whether its getting a vehicle ready for sale, a car show, or just because you want a clean car to drive around in, we have many packages to choose from, or we can customize one to fit owners needs.
ColorAuto Detailing works exclusively with GYEON Quartz Ceramic Coatings. The products are created from the ground up by GYEON, and not a third-party bottler or private label. In Colorado's harsh environment, these coatings perform exceptionally well and provide superior protection, add a ton of gloss, intense water behavior and make regular wash maintenance fast and easy.
Using only the highest quality products and cutting-edge tools, we are able to remove and refine paint marring, etchings, swirls and defects by bringing out the paint's true depth and luster. This service is on a custom quote basis. OH MY GAWD BECKY. Seriously incredible work– More than incredible . My jeep hasn’t looked this good since it rolled off the lot (brand new). It’s so clean I could just cry. 10/10 friendly, 10/10 price, 10/10 communication, 10/10 quality, just above and beyond. I am telling anyone that will listen to go here. I should have taken a before picture for full effect, but just imagine a wrangler that has spent the last 4 years bopping all over the country filled with sand, dirt, dust, food, spilled pineapple juice, tons of blonde hair, dog hair, and God knows what else.

I just took my car to ColorAuto to have an exterior detail done and Anthony did a remarkable job! I just got my car back & It looks brand new!
I bought my car brand new about 6 mos. ago and took it in for tint and clear bra (paint protection film) and they did an exceptional job then too! Paul and his staff were patient and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend any service ColorAuto offers, these guys won’t disappoint!

Drive by their shop off of 25 Rd regularly. Very convenient location. Prompt and professional service and felt that they were very knowledgeable. I had them conduct a detailed interior cleaning on a work truck that was very dirty. I was very pleased with how well the truck came out and was even surprised at how many stains were removed from the cloth interior. I own multiple work and personal trucks and plan on being a return customer. I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". And I am pleased with the value I received. Thank you ColorAuto!

Very impressed with the seemingly brand new shine on my older Tacoma after the wash and wax. These guys took care of the more tenacious sap/tar/bugs that were stuck to the paint and glass. The tires were especially eye-catching. Also, received detailing of the interior; it looked (and smelled) exponentially better.

Myself and extended family over the years have taken around 10+ vehicles to ColorAuto to have various things done not to mention referred lots of friends, Paul has always treated us great. This was the first time I have ever used a car detailing service and I will not go anywhere else as long as I live in the Western Slope! Jason was friendly, professional and helpful and our car looks as if it's brand new! They told us we could expect for the car to be done between 4 and 5 pm and I got a call at 3 that it was done and ready to pick up! I do not have enough great things to say about ColorAuto Detailing! Setting an appointment in person was simple and quick, the auto detailing services that I would receive were explained well. Dropping my car off for detailing was again simple and easy, the services I would be receiving were reconfirmed. When I picked my car after detailing I was very pleased with the great results.
