Amy Snow is a great psychiatrist but unfortunately my experience with this practice was not a good one.
My next appointment was scheduled way after running out of my prescription, so the hectic back and forth after realizing I was going to run out of my medicine, was incredibly stressful. In my opinion, this is a serious clerical error. On top of that, I still didn’t get my prescription in time and ended up missing two days, if not more since I actually still don’t have my medicine. (As a matter of fact, as I am writing this, I am still in a back and forth with the office as well as the pharmacy

I truly dislike leaving negative reviews, but I had a phone visit scheduled (because of pandemic), the office called me maybe 15 minutes before my scheduled time to make sure I was ready for his call at 2:30. I did miss that call, had stepped outside for a minute without my phone, but called back and found out that was why she was calling. So, at 2:20ish, appointment time was scheduled at 2:30, I was watching my phone like a hawk. I was not on any apps, not checking email, etc. No call ever came through, no voicemail. I did not want to seem impatient so called the office about 20 minutes after

After having multiple horrible experiences at a public mental health option that I wont name, I decided to call PPA. First. The front office staff is top notch. Assisted me with my paperwork, treated me with respect and worked me in immediately. I saw Dr Marshall and he was an ENTIRE breath of fresh air. He was kind, relatable and treated me with respect. My opinion mattered and at the other facility it never did. I could tell immediately that this is home now. Thank you PPA.

I absolutely love my doctor and my therapist. They are both genuinely concerned for your mental health. I have made so much progress under their care and have recommended them to many people who have also had great success at this practice. That being said one of the office ladies is just very rude. I have had issues with billing also. I have reported her behavior to my doctor and would still continue to recommend this practice.

Glen Combs is quite possibly the most empathetic man I have ever known. It's taken three years to finally break down my own barriers and be honest with myself and the Piedmont Psychiatric staff about what is going on with me. Glen has been patient and realistic with me every step of the way.
I wouldn't be on the road to becoming a whole person without this great resource to the community.

Having had many experiences with psychiatric providers, including poor experiences (have left appointments in tears on more than one occasion), I felt compelled to give a good review for this practice. My first appointment was yesterday, with a nurse practitioner who is new to the location. She was genuine, caring, elicited my input on what has worked for me in the past, and put me at ease as much as anyone could have, given the inherent awkwardness of initial psych visits. Would absolutely recommend this practice, especially for those struggling with depression and anxiety.

I’d rather keep my review personal but management is welcome to contact me. As for future patients I would avoid this place at all costs.
*Editing for the personal attacks questioning my character and review.
A therapist broke patient confidentiality.
Front office is very poorly ran. Multiple billing errors and reluctantly to correct them.
2 dogs in office. 1 of which snipped at my toddler while walking to check out - the front office clerk then said the dog was old and took it to another room in a hastily fashion.
No advance notice was given when Sara Hepler (their excellent therapist)

I would SO give a negative number if possible!!!!!!!!!!!! They scheduled me for an appt. with the NP and then called back to say she wouldn't start working there until the next week. They gave me a new date and appt. time and told me to be there by 3:30 for check-in for a 4:00 appt. Got there and gave my new insurance card, verified my phone number and address and that was it. 30 minutes early for that?! I sat there until my 4:00 appt time. Still sitting there at 15 after. Finally asked about when I would be seen and all they would say is "she's still with the previous patient". Well, i had been

Not a good fit for me. Very first visit, I was prescribed 3 new medications at once, even though I have problems with side effects on most meds. He seemed nice and was easy to talk with, but I was making progress on very little medication, and that did not seem to be taken into consideration. I questioned some of the personal advice he gave me, not knowing me, and I have chosen not to return.

Helpful and caring psychiatrist that manages my depression/anxiety medication and wonderful therapist that helps to sort things out with me. Therapist is at Kernersville office, and the front desk support there could not be better. Front desk support at Clemmons can be a little short, but I think its because they are uninformed in some instances. I would recommend this to anyone that needs the care.
