We are proud to provide Manchester with a local independent bookstore experience. However, Bookery is more than just a bookstore. We serve as a hub for book-lovers, artists, politicians, workers, dreamers, and those with extraordinary imaginations. We are made up of a diverse group of book lovers, coffee enthusiasts, artisan chefs, storytellers, teachers, and aspiring writers & artists.
We love to keep our selection fresh by paying tribute to the classics and, of course, featuring new releases. Our wide assortment features every genre that your heart could possibly desire, from travel and biographies to the top of the best-seller's list. We have an entire section at Bookery Manchester filled with puzzles, bookmarks, book lights, printed socks, scented candles, t-shirts, pins, art supplies and other book-themed merchandise!

Whatever the occasion for your private or pop-up event, all rentals begin at $55/ hour with a two hour minimum and you have a few options for the specific location within our store. Transform this space to accommodate your dinner party, business meeting, or anything in between! Place 10 -15 chairs around a large table for a conference, or arrange them for theater-style seating.
You'll need to balance understanding a customer's tastes in books or gifts, and offer suggestions based on your own knowledge and experience, while providing excellent customer service with a positive, upbeat attitude. You'll need to prepare food and beverages according to prescribed recipes and techniques, maintain food quality and ensure guest satisfaction while providing excellent service with a positive, upbeat attitude.

I LOVE independent bookstores! Even with a smaller selection, they always manage to have more interesting things, and this place was no exception! Two D&D puzzles, two Harry Potter pencil bags, a Mandolorian T-shirt and two books later (plus some coffee), we were happy campers! Thanks for an awesome experience!
