Services
My start down the path of natural skin care began with an unlikely source. In 2007 while helping butcher a steer, I made use of the beef tallow by taking up soap making. The chemistry of saponification (soap making) hooked me. Soon after, I found my passion for native plants was influencing my handmade creations.
Step one of my facial program. Gently cleanse and moisturize your facial skin while minimizing damage to your stratum corneum (outer layer of skin) with my gentle facial cleansers. It's an effective way of cleansing your skin because of my mild surfactant along with a combination of natural moisturizers, antioxidants, and nutrients.
My essential oils and hydrosols are special impressions of the plants during a moment in time when I harvested them. Each batch is characteristically unique like a fingerprint that captures a snap shot like no other. The growing environment (amount of rain or sunlight and the soil condition), the harvest (plant parts and time during its growing cycle it was harvested), make each distillation a work of art that is part science and part love.
Sensitive skin is easily inflamed and irritated, it overreacts to stress, environmental factors such as weather, sun, wind, and temperature, and skincare products. Sensitive skin can be dry, oily or combination skin type and can have areas of redness and itchiness. Sensitive skin it typically thinner, and is therefore less effective as a barrier allowing irritants to penetrate the skin triggering an allergic response.
Dry skin usually happens when the skin isn't effective at keeping water in. Dry skin may be red, flaky, itchy and irritated, and can be drawn and tight at times. Your skin may be rough, and chapped. As our skin ages it's less effective at it's job of holding water in, and protecting against microbes and can begin to show signs of fine lines and becomes thinner.

This is a nice side trip/stop on your way to or from Olympic National Park. We visited in July the weekend before the Lavendar festival and it was great, the lavender was in bloom but there were no crowds. We enjoyed about an hour here walking around and taking pictures and taking in the smells. We bought some lavender ice cream which was AMAZING. Definitely try and plan a stop here if going to or from Port Angeles from Seattle.

The worst experience I have ever had shopping online. I never received any order acknowledgement from this company or a shipping schedule. I sent several emails and tried to call multiple times but the calls always go to voice mail. They don’t return calls or reply to emails. After many weeks of waiting for the lavender plants they finally arrived and were so poorly packed that most of the dirt was in the bottom of the FedEx box, and all the plants died within 5 days. I also purchased plants as a gift for a friend and he had a similar experience, all his plants also died within a week.

I ordered long stem bundles of dried lavender for my wedding and they were perfect! Shipping was fast, the flowers smelled amazing (only as I walked down the aisle did I realize how helpful it was to have calming lavender under my nose at such an emotional moment) and the aroma is still wonderful and they look beautiful a year and a half later. I highly recomme Victor's Lavender!

I initially placed an order in March for a box of fresh lavender - Victor said that only fresh flowers would be available in late July. He said that I would have to remind him of the order in July , which I did, but he still was not able to guarantee that he would complete the order until July 25th (the flowers were due on the 27th). The flowers did eventually arrive on time (dried, not fresh - still beautiful), but Victor ignoring emails/phonecalls and his inability to ensure the order we placed in March led to a lot of stress and contingency planning.

We took a drive to Sequim to visit all the different lavender farms, Victor's was the first one we stopped at. When we went into the gift shop the person at the cash register didn't greet us or say one word to us the whole time, actually made for an uncomfortable shopping experience while she stared at us as if she was anxious for us to leave. When we brought our things to the counter we were told there was a $10 minimum purchase to use a debit card, which wasn't posted anywhere. I found the majority of the items for sale were items that could be easily purchased online for less, nothing was really
