Flintlock Construction Services has one overarching mission: to bring the best in open shop construction to the heart of New York City, providing developers with a high-quality, lower cost alternative to the closed shop contractors that have historically dominated Manhattan's building trade.

Flintlock was the first open shop contractor in Manhattan to use a personnel and material hoist, first to build above 8, 11, 20 and 30 stories, the first to employ a tower crane and will soon be the first open shop contractor to construct a building in Manhattan comprising in excess of 450,000 square feet.Our industry leadership can be seen throughout our operations.
Because of our track record, financial strength and reputation, we are able to post payment and performance bonds backed by the Chubb Group of Companies, which is something very few other open shop contractors can do. With a bonding line of $300M, and a variable single project limit, Flintlock is ready to provide the surety's guaranty.
We believe energy efficiency plays a role in every successful building design and construction, and we are strong advocates for energy efficiency in every project we undertake. Long before ground is broken, we work with developers and architects to maximize the application of materials and energy efficient technologies and materials.
