The moment I walked in, the front desk was genuinely friendly and courteous. My wait time was minimal to nil and the clinical staff was so very helpful, unlike another well known clinic.
I'm very grateful for their care and grateful that they were able to see me. Thank you for listening. Keep up the great work.😊

We searched Juneau for a provider who would give a fourth covid vaccine shot to someone who is immunocompromised, as recommended by the CDC weeks ago. Not only were none aware of the recommendation, they were abruptly dismissive of the request and refused to discuss. Not Juneau urgent care. After some discussion they investigated the situation on their own then called to invite us to come in for a shot. They listened, and they did what was best for a person in their care.

Very frustrating experience and poor customer service. We had appointments for two children to receive their COVID vaccinations. It took 75 minutes (yes, 1.25 HOURS) for this to be accomplished. Communication was poor—someone tried to video-chat after we were left alone in an exam room, but couldn’t see us, because the camera wasn’t properly set up. Eventually another staff person returned and fixed the camera, the woman on video did not introduce herself or explain her role or credentials. When the other staff returned with the vaccines, they had clearly not communicated with each other

Juneau Urgent Care gets 5 stars from me! They recently fit me in their already very full aPpointment schedule and were able to see me the same day and on a weekend. All the medical staff and employees are very friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable at what they do. Again, they get 5 stars from me!

Waited 45 min to be seen for a pre-scheduled vaccine appointment. The receptionist said they were behind because they only had one medical assistant today. If there is a staffing shortage it would be helpful to not schedule more appointments than the staff has time to see.
UNABLE TO ADD A REPLY TO THE RESPONSE FROM OWNER BELOW SO AM EDITING THE ORIGINAL: THE APPOINTMENTS WERE FOR 2 OF MY CHILDREN TODAY.

I enjoyed the company of the female doctors and felt comfortable to talk with them for the most part. However. Whenever I requested to have my medication dose increased (to what it was for years prior to pregnancy) they would suggest I take a vacation from it. Which causes a ton of other issues for myself and my wellbeing. It was frustrating but manageable. My ultimate final straw was to keep my medication I needed to pay for a visit every time I needed a refill when it was 1. Not necessary and 2. Not financially doable. I asked about the payment a number of times and was told "insurance will take

Never going to JUC again….
Had to go for an abscess drain; took them over an hour just to do the intake and another hour just to get it taken care of.
Afterwards the doctor moved me into another room—didn’t say which one until another few minutes past then put me in a room with the door open and I was still in a gown.
He seemed very busy running around and not really paying attention to the patients.
After the procedure was over; there really was no aftercare instructions as he ran to help another patient. There was also a mixup with the Rx, I was told it would be at one place (went there

I had a great experience, despite a wait at the start. I was feverish and out of it when I arrived. When Kayden, I hope I have his name right, came to get me from the waiting room I was exhausted but his gentle, kind manner was comforting and just what I needed. The doctor showed up later, Dr. Sidebottom. She was full of confidence and expertise and quickly diagnosed me after a urine test. Off we went to get the antibiotic prescription and within 15 hours I felt like a new person. I am deeply grateful to everyone there. We were visiting from Colorado and were supposed to leave the next day which

The staff were very friendly, and seemed to care about my well-being and my patient visit there. WELL DONE! 👍🏻👏🏻
One thing I didn’t like was the constant whirring noise from a fan in the lobby area that seemed to block the receptionist voice from being heard well who was behind the plexiglass shield as you stand in front to begin getting prescreened for your appointment. Anyway, if there was anyway to lessen that constant whirring notice of this fan it would make it easier to hear what the receptionist is saying.
