Prior to her chiropractic education, Dr. Son suffered from severe migraines for over 20 years. She sought all types of remedies such as taking pain medications. She wanted to try something new and started receiving chiropractic care in 1997, and with much success, it turned her whole life around. She developed a vision that she wanted to provide the same in helping others.

Dr. Michael and Dr. Jane run one of the most amazing chiropractic offices you could visit! After a recent fall and injury to my tail bone, I did a lot of research and came across sugarloaf pain and rehab. I am so thankful I did because they truly care about healing you and getting you back on track! Every time I get an adjustment, I instantly feel better. Sugarloaf Pain & Rehab is hands down the best chiropractic I've been to. They sincerely care for your well-being and I'm just really glad that I'm feeling better after my auto accident. They're very thorough with every visit, making sure I get the best care possible, and I love the structure. While I thought the initial assessment was thorough and professional, my issues with this practice lie in the way the insurance was handled.
I went for an initial assessment for neck and shoulder pain. I saw Dr. Michael who performed a complete and thorough assessment including X-rays. Ok, fine. I expected all of this. I knew this practice was in-network for me and my Insurance so I knew all was well.
They outlined a plan for me after checking with my insurance and when I checked our after my initial assessment, I was asked to pay $185 out of pocket the same day upon leaving. I was told each

Dr. Michael Hwang has worked miracles on my ankle and knee. I am 70 and my knee after surgery needed to have the excess scar tissue eliminated for more mobility and my ankle had collapsed because of adult flat feet. After around 2 months of treatments (16 sessions), I have more range of motion and have no pain. I highly recommend Dr. Michael and Sugarloaf Pain and Rehab. Great personal service and staff.

After seeing how much better other family members felt after being seen here, I decided to finally be seen for my reoccurring back pain. I was a bit nervous because of bad experiences I have had in the past with other chiropractors. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. The whole office staff is very welcoming. I was referred to Dr. Michael by family members and I'm glad I went! Before going, I had lower back pain for about 6-8 months every morning after sleeping. Dr. Michael immediately was able to draw up a plan about how to get my back stabilized. After just one visit, I already had a major reduction in pain. I've been about 7-ish times and I have had an amazing experience and no more back pain. The staff in there are so nice and will help you with anything. If you have any pain at all, I highly recommend coming here. You will not regret it. I cannot thank Dr. Michael enough.

This place is amazing ! Everyone there is so nice and very welcoming ! The doctors are extremely helpful and really do care about their patients.They don't take the approach most chiropractors take which is manual arrangement.A usual office visit is about 30 min because they have three different steps massage ,a time with the doc and traction bed . I suffered from low back problem for years and I visited more than 5 chiropractors and non of them fixed it for me ! Dr.micheal found the reason of my pain on the first visit.He found a huge scare tissue that was causing the pain.He fixed it in

I was recommended to find someone who was certified in active release therapy to work on a sports injury for an upcoming race. I had very little time to become pain free or minimize the pain before my event. I found Sugarloaf Pain and Rehab by a google search. I called the office to find out more information about the therapy. Sarah was able to answer all my questions. She was able to fit me in right away with my busy schedule. I found this place while searching on Yelp for a chiropractor. They had the best reviews and were very close to my job, so they won the rat race based off that alone (initially). I called to schedule an appointment. I spoke with two very nice, professional women (Christina and Sarah). They both made me feel very welcome and confident about my decision to contact them. They were able to schedule me for a same day appointment which was fantastic. The information given over the phone was very detailed. Dr. Son has helped me so much since I came to this practice!! Other chiropractors will crack your neck and back, but Dr. Son uses specialized and targeted techniques to release nerves, tension, and fix alignment issues. I have had a herniated cervical disc and other spine and muscle issues for several years and I never experienced so much relief since. I was sick of spending hundreds of dollars and only have options for pills or injections from typically physicians. Very friendly and profesional. Dr. Michael is a knee guru. I've had multiple injuries to my legs and knees in my youth but I've let it slide until they all caught up to me and it became hard getting around. Noises everytime I stood or sat down paranoid me until I decided to finally see if my case was as horrible as I had imagined. Upon meeting Dr. Michael I was put to ease for he gave exact reasons to my pain and noises then after just one session the noise was gone! Of course I had to go back and finish more sessions but I don't feel like I wasted any time or money. Great guy

This is a fantastic facility. Dr. Sun does a wonderful job and has helped me with my chronic pain I've had since an accident. When I arrived I was experiencing pain all the time in my neck. Now I experience less pain and have many pain free days. The staff is professional and very sweet. Everyone is very polite and fun to talk to. I enjoy my visits and I leave feeling better and stronger.

I really think this place may be the best group of chiropractors that I have gone to. I have never been one to go to a chiropractor but with recent back problems and a need to get some relief I took the chance and asked a sports medicine friend at work. She suggested this practice and I have been feeling the best that I have been in a few months. If you are in the area or just tired of going around to different practices I really suggest these people.
