If you think about it, every industry has a specialty shoe to fit its needs. Sports, construction, law enforcement, and even the medical field have shoes designed for a particular purpose. Us drummers, who use our feet the most, finally have the perfect shoe to fit our needs. A flexible, lightweight, comfortable sneaker that not only looks good, but can hold up to performing at the highest and most intense level of playing.
Vratims are the most comfortable shoes in which I've yet played drums. I've already tracked half of a prog/metal record and a rock record (among other fun stuff), so as far as versatility goes, 'the proof is in the pudding.' I dig 'em so much I've got a white pair for the studio and a black pair for touring!

VRATIM (we pronounce it: /vr'a tim/) is a brand dedicated to providing quality shoes and clothing that meet the demands of and help improve the performance of musicians. We believe that drummers along with many performing musicians should have shoes and clothing items that meet their specific respective needs (much like how certain athletes use certain shoes for certain sports).
A few years ago while at practice, one of our owners (Thomas Filbert) noticed friend/drummer, Dylan, had cut his toes while playing drums barefoot. This sparked an idea that there should be shoes specifically designed to meet the needs of a drummer (while also looking good) and that could even be worn casually.
We're currently backing off on endorsing more artists, but if you think you would be a good fit in our artist family, feel free to submit an application! For endorsement considerations we look at: musicianship, tour schedules, online presence (both for your personal and/or your band's social media), and possible label/management support.
We get a ton of endorsement submissions and emails in general, but we do check out every endorsement application we get. That all being said, it can sometimes take us a little while to reply, but if everything looks good we will be in touch! Please provide a brief history of any records or tours you have been a part of within the last 2 years.

Great company that makes great products. I have the Camouflage and the Grey shoes for playing shows when I don’t want to wear my Doc’s boots. I am not an endorsed artist of there’s but really do love the care they take for all artists who use their products. You will not be disappointed whether behind the kit or relaxing with friends.

These are actually great to play drums in. Kind of like a more flexible pair of chucks, or a more breathable Van's. Only these things grip to your pedals rather than slide off. Takes some getting used to. The only complaint I have is they did not offer 1/2 sizes when I ordered my pair. I would wear them much more if I had a half size down!
