DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! I developed a terrible infection of my nail bed from a gel pedicure. I went to my PCP and he had to prescribe antibiotics. I went back to the salon and explained to them I'd developed an infection AND showed them pictures. They were rude and unprofessional. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED PLEASE STAY AWAY!! If I could award 0 stars I would.

Horrible! I got a full set with gel and gel on my toes. My dad came with me and got a regular mani pedi. We paid $172 plus tip. They were rude. They didn’t want to help me pick the color I wanted. It wasn’t the shape I wanted. It was a horrible experience. I will never return. They speak down to you and I was uncomfortable the whole time. Never again.

I usually don’t write reviews ,but I felt like I had to today. This is the third time receiving a bad pedicure. I’m not bashing Angel. I’m only giving her advice on how to improve her business. The pedicures are ridiculously priced. Any establishment near by charges $25 for a basic pedicure. She made a very confusing menu. I picked the basic one. Then she tricked me by giving me another menu which only had different types of Epsom salts. I picked the peppermint one not knowing she was going to charge a whole $30.00 to add the salts and slap some extremely hot rocks on my legs. I still have

Me and my husband have been going to angel nails for about a year now . Not to long ago my husband has a situation with the owner angel and he decided not to go anymore , she was unprofessional towards him . I at that point loved going to her so I continued, until today . Every time I go I always asked for angel herself , I just loved the way she did my nails and my designs . Today was the first time I asked for a design that I didn’t like so I asked her to please remove it . She did and then caught an attitude with me . I asked politely why she seemed upset , she said because I always ask her

Angel nail spa was a wonderful experience. They did a fantastic job and I was met with grace and kindness through my whole experience. I will definitely go back. I urge all my friends to go - these are wonderful people to work with and talking with them about their lives while getting superb treatment on my nails combined for a wonderful afternoon. I received a very bad pedicure. I’m diabetic and fungus grow on my pinky toe and a little extra skin. They didn’t clip my nails shorter. They said it would be extra. I said okay, they said I didn’t need it. Now my pinky is cutting into my skin after wearing shoes all day and it looks infected.

I was a walk-in today and asked for a spa pedicure. They got me in Fairly quick. The gentleman who did my pedicure was nice. But the quality of the pedicure was terrible. He rushed through so fast, I still see roughness around my toes, he missed most of my toe nails when painting them... and left polish on my toes.. I paid $40 with tip, I went here for the 5 star review.. But after only 1 visit I will never go back again.

The sweetest workers I've ever met, family owned and very reasonably priced. I got an acrylic full set for 35 (even with a design!!). Short staff just a man and a woman but it's usually not to busy. I often do walk-ins and 95% of the time they can take me right away. I'm always very pleased with my nails and experience after leaving Angel :)

This used to be my favorite spot for years! But my last visits keep getting worse. I have nothing against guys but the ones I've gotten lately are just not good. I've been treated roughly too many times. I much prefer a pampered feeling over rushed and harsh handling. A pedi should not hurt! And my last pedi was the last. The guy didn't bother getting the full nail covered and sloshed color on my skin in other places without cleaning it off. If I want a messy job I'll do it at home. Off to search for my new salon.

I came in to get an acrylic nail fill, and was overcharged $10 for my service ($25 total for a fill). When I asked why it was such a high charge when my nails were in good condition, they stated that I had broken nails that needed fixing. I did not have any nails broken, and they were only 2 weeks post previous fill. They also claimed that they did gel nail polish on my fingers. I can assure that this is regular nail polish because it is already chipped and I got it done two days ago. They were very rude when I asked for a refund of that overcharge, and DID NOT give me a refund and said it

I went to get a pedicure and while getting it done the manager who was doing my toe nails decided to make conversation with me about my tattoo. He made a rude comment about my tattoo while getting my pedicure. I was uncomfortable the rest of the time that I was there. I will not go back again to a place where I, a customer, has to worry that a rude comment will be made, especially by the manager.

I went here with my mother in law and:
- They literally painted the tops of my toes. The lady had no glasses on the first time she painted them, and after I showed her the paint all over my toes she put glasses on and tried to fix them with polish remover and a brush. When that turned out bad she did repaint them and they turned out better.
- The man who painted my mother in laws toes told her that she needed to get surgery on her bunion. He then said" you want your nails to be pretty and you have a bunion, then what's the point." Apparently according to other reviews he has told

I love this nail salon. They have the best service. Benson and Cindy are the owners and are some of the best nail technitions I have ever met. Tina is also amazing. Those are the 3 I recommend. The deluxe pedicures with the parifin wax and hot stones are worth the $40. I wouldn't take the previous review and hold it against the spa. If you have an issue address it and they will fix it with no problem at all. Definitely a better choice than the nail salon around the corner: queen nails. Now their service is crap. Give angel nails a try and you won't be disappointed.

Worst nail salon in Crystal Lake. I went to Kim for a mani and pedi. After my mani I asked her to repaint them because the polish looked chunky. She acted very annoyed and started cutting my cuticles. She was so aggressive that she cut me. The redone polish has so many bubbles in it. I've never seen polish do that before. But I was too nervous to say anything because of the way she acted. Also my pedicure looks like it needs to be redone after only 3 days. There are so many great nail salons in Crystal Lake, don't make the same mistake I did and waste your money at this one.

Manicure, one of the staff members was yelling a customer that was paying by credit card. First of all, she was not at fault, the staff member ringing her up charger her the wrong amount. In response, the manager or owner told her that if she was paying cash there wouldn't be a problem. He went on telling her that they company has to pay 78 cents for her transaction and how it was an inconvenience to the company on how she was paying. Personally I thought this was extremely rude! Then as I was getting my manicure done, the guy that was doing my nails cut by cuticle so bad that I was left bleeding
