I grew up watching my mom bake and decorate cakes for family celebrations. I began creating my own cakes in 1999. From that time, my passion for baking and decorating grew with each family celebration. My search for creating the perfect recipes with high quality ingredients brought me on an amazing journey that has become Oh Goodness Cakes.
As a custom wedding cake baker, my job is to help each wedding couple create a design that perfectly complements the tone of their wedding. Together, we will find the look, feel and personality of your cake, and have fun doing it! As each couple is unique - so is their cake! Wedding planning is stressful enough, so come sit with me for about an hour, taste a few cake flavors and have some fun designing your cake!

To say Rachel’s cakes are incredible would be an understatement- they are PERFECT. From the decoration to the moist inside to the creamy and just the right amount of sweet buttercream she gets every aspect right every time. I’ve had her make two cakes for me now - one for my wedding and one for a gender reveal party. I just finished eating the last piece of leftovers from the gender reveal cake and am very disappointed it’s all gone - it’s just sooo good!! Both times I showed her pictures of the type of decoration I wanted and she made it perfectly. I still can never get over walking into

Rachel designed and made my wedding cake and it was perfect. She was very helpful and responsive to all questions and concerns we had. We had a very particular wedding cake in mind (carrot cake with cream cheese frosting) and it was devious. She was great the day of the wedding meeting with my husband and florist to make the cake look beautiful. I recommend her to any person who needs a cake for any occasion.

Absolutely love these cakes. All my friends need to get a cake for their next event then invite me over so I can have more. One of the best icings I have had. We've been buying cakes from Rachel for a couple of years now and they have always been amazing. A beautiful choice for weddings or birthdays or any other excuse you can come up with to have cake.

Five Stars are not enough to rate these cakes! They are beautiful to look at and artistry and precision is breath taking. The best part is that the cake and fillings are as delicious to eat as the cake is to look at. I've had 8* cakes from here and have never been disappointed with the taste or the look. Oh Goodness Cakes did the desert for our wedding this past weekend, on 7/14/18. Rachel was the first, and only, person I called when looking for a wedding cake. I enjoyed every single interaction I had with her throughout the planning process. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Cake is usually the last type of desert I gravitate toward but that all changed once I tasted Rachel’s incredible cake flavors!
