1929 - Starting as a Steam Shovel operator at age 15 Mr. T.S. Freeland went on to start his own Earth Moving Equipment and Material Handling Company named Freeland Equipment Company. The business was and still is located at 1600 S. Caton Ave Baltimore MD, 21227. 1940 - Freeland Equipment Company becomes an authorized equipment and parts distributor of Shaw Box Cranes & Budgit Hoists.
