As a young teenager, I apprenticed at a local cabinet shop in Kingston, New York.
Upon completion, I moved to Florida, New York where I worked for the Vulpiani Furniture Shop, with a concentrated focus on fine furniture of the arts and crafts period. This two-year period encapsulated the purest sense of craftsmanship. The construction methods that were regularly practiced were that of mortise and tendon jointery and hand cut dovetails for drawers and casework.
