The coils on our garage door snapped and our garage door wouldn't open. This happened on a Saturday morning right before we were about to start our busy day running errands! Luckily, our neighbor and in-laws recommended Chuck and so I called him and he was here literally within 30 minutes even though he was in between other jobs. Told me it would be about 20-30 minutes to fix and he was right on!

I had just moved into my new home in 2017 and the garage door made a lot of noise, so much noise I thought it was going to collapse! On top of that, there were times the garage door just wouldn't open. It was so stressful, especially when I was trying to leave for work. I found Chuck via Yelp and it was the best find ever! On a Friday, 11 days ago, our garage door stopped working correctly. It would barely open, then slam shut. We tried to figure out what happened, and needed at least 2 people to manually open the garage door to stay open. In the midst, we realized that the digital clocks in the house were blinking and thought, unbeknownst to us, that maybe there was a power outage overnight that contributed to the problem.
We checked the website of the product installed to help with troubleshooting, and Googling the same, and followed the instructions. Still the garage door wouldn't not functioning correctly

Easy to connect with and schedule to get our garage motor changed. Took a few days to work out schedule details but he showed up in the time window I gave on a weekend. Price was reasonable and work was done in under an hour, he explained everything to us and installed the garage motor & belt, sensor and keypad. Answered all our questions and was nice and professional. Definitely recommend!

Thanks Chuck for fixing my garage door. Spring broke and keypad wasn't working, he came as soon as he got his parts in and fixed my garage door in less than an hour after he arrived. Chuck to the rescue (again!)! Early in the morning we discovered a cable that was attached to the garage door was not attached to the garage door. We were able to lift the door open partially to get the car out but then it didn't want to close completely. Frantic morning! My husband and I couldn't remember Chuck's company name (which is silly if you think about it). In a frantic search for help on Yelp we found Chuck (again). He responded within minutes of sending a request for a quote. We were extremely fortunate that he could come out today.

Our Garage Door was giving us problems and I went to Yelp for recommendations. There were many Garage Door repair businesses that had four plus star ratings. I was able to get seven quotes from these businesses. Garage Door Doctor Hawaii responded first. Chuck, the owner, provided the best quote among them. He scheduled me in for early evening.
Chuck arrived at 6:15 pm. and evaluated the springs and system. He did some calculations and pulled two springs from his Tacoma. The springs were changed in about forty-five minutes.

Chuck U provided consummate professional installation of a new garage door motor, controls (both hardwired and WiFi), instructions, lubrication of springs and rollers, and to include removal of the old obsolete junky unit in just under 55 minutes!

A few weeks ago I noticed that the garage overhead door was malfunctioning. We had to hold the wall button down to close it. Yesterday, 22nd May, 2020, it started doing the same thing but, this time the light on the motor unit kept flashing and the door opened on its own (it likely got programmed to a neighbours opener). I had to unplug the unit overnight so it would not open throughout the night. I thought unplugging would reset it (you know, like the IT people tell you to do when troubleshooting your computer?). That didn't work.
