Complex Regional Pain Syndrome is a difficult condition to live with and the sooner you address it the better. We specialize in treating this condition with sympathetic blocks, spinal cord stimulators, education, and referrals for desensitization and fluidotherapy. Compression fractures happen for different reasons such as osteoporosis, injuries, and cancer.
The pain can lead to a variety of other symptoms and interfere with multiple aspects of a person's life. Some people report having trouble eating, sleeping, feeling weak, tired, or even moody. The presence of intermittent or unrelenting pain and the disruption that it causes in one's life can be overwhelming and debilitating.
A vertebral compression fracture occurs when a bone in the spine collapses. Vertebral bodies are the bones in your spine that bear the weight of your body. These fractures can lead to an incapacitating back pain and a reduction in your mobility. Compression fractures of the spine often occur when there is too much pressure on the vertebral body in the case of an accident or if the bone matrix is weak.
Headaches are a multifaceted pain condition with causes that vary greatly. Some headaches stem from chemical imbalances, some can be the result of muscular or structural alignment issues, others can be the result of another underline issue within the body. Headaches fall into two general classifications, "Primary" and "Secondary".

I am a retired medical professional who now copes with complex, chronic medical conditions. Over years I’ve received medical care here in New Mexico and with nationally known providers. In recent months I’ve been very impressed by the whole team at Interventional Pain Associates. Due to my consistent experiences with Dr Joshu Raiten and his team, I rate them an A++ and I recommend them highly.

Was being seen at this office for over 3 months while they used up my Medicare and Medicaid , had one small issue with rude uncaring front office manager that could not help me verify my insurance because of her big ego then got a letter saying they will no longer see me again, which is fine because I am not there to be belittled in front of everyone! Hopefully doctor will see the several reviews about his un compassionate staff. I also will notify both my insurances seems like there just in it for my insurance money. Once they used it up to kick me to the curb.

First let me state that the Doctor and staff are good and friendly. The front desk receptionist however is very unprofessional, rude, and impolite. She will talk down to you if you question her attitude. I was given the impression that just because she is the owner, at least that is what she told me, she can treat patients anyway she wants to. I am sure the Doctor either does not know how she treats patients coming in for treatment or cannot do anything because she is the owner, or part owner. If you call and ask to talk to someone else, she will not allow it, and makes excuses. I have been going

Dr. Raiten is THE BEST DOCTOR I've ever experienced! It's rare to find a physician who actually cares about their patients and their job. Not only that, but every single employee I've had an encounter with has been more than pleasant. Katie is always so sweet and helpful.. best owners out there-- can't them recommend enough. Thank you IPA!!!

The worst Dr I have NEVER been to. I would leave no stars if possible.
Isn't part of the Hippocratic oath, DO NO HARM?! I specifically drove down from Santa Fe, 1 hr drive, I walked in with my service dogs, without the vests on I forgot to put them on. They said no dogs allowed, yet there is no signage saying so. Before I could say that I'll get their vests the receptionist refused me service. I refused to leave, she videoed me sitting in the waiting room refusing to engage her.
Its 98 outside, hot, I'm not going to leave the dogs in the car so the cops would take me to jail at that point. And

In recent years I have been frustrated with health care. It can be heartbreaking to spend money on health insurance and doctors appointments and then feel like the doctor did not even listen to anything that I said. I cannot count how many times I have left in tears and questioned if I should even continue to try to find the problem or just give up and live with pain. That is never the case with Dr. Raiten. He is truly a compassionate human who obviously wants to help people find the source of their problems and does all that is within his capacity to help people feel better.

Doctor Raiten is by far the best pain specialist I've had the privilege of seeing. I was very happy he opened his own practice instead of being at Lovelace. He listens is compassionate and really cares about your well being. His wife is also very nice and does a great job at running the office. I'm a firefighter with a l5 s1 fusion and other back issues. Highly recommend.

To all CRPS patients, the Interventional Pain Associates website is misleading. It leads you to believe that they are knowledgeable on how to treat CRPS. I was left in a horrible position when my previous CRPS doctor's past caught up to him and ultimately resulted in him abruptly shutting his practice down due to illegal activity he had committed 5 years previous to me being his patient (None of his current patients were aware of this doctor's past conduct).
However, when I told Dr. Joshu Raiten why I was seeking a new physician (I was honest) that could help treat my CRPS, he immediately stopped
