More than half the women in America have bunions, a common deformity often blamed on wearing tight, narrow shoes.
A callus is an area of hard, thickened skin that can occur across the ball of the foot, on the heel, or on the outer side of the big toe. While many consider them a skin problem, they actually are systemic of a problem with the bone. Calluses have painful nerves and bursal sacs (fluid-filled balloons that act as shock absorbers) beneath them, causing symptoms ranging from sharp, shooting pain to dull, aching soreness.

I had been experiencing pain in my heel for quite some time. I went to Dr. Rimler and he created custom orthotic insoles. The orthotics were extremely helpful in subsiding the pain. Not only is Dr. Rick Rimler a highly experienced and knowledgable Podiatrist, but he is a really good person that always makes you feel welcomed when you enter his office.

the discomfort and pain I was experiencing. He genuinely cares as he even suggested the use of
supplements to take for well being and inflammation.

What 7 docs and 2 hospitals could not fix for nearly 4 years, he did. My open callus on my sole was so deep that you could the see the muscle...Amputation was the skeleton in the room.
Doc Rick healed that wound in 6.5 months with the right approach of conventional and natural medicine and the correct advise how to change my day to day activities and ortho support. And his never ending dedication to his patient: which doc is calling you at 6:30pm bcs he thought he had another advice for healing the wound. He did. And it worked

Feeling much better since seeing Doc Rick. I like that he uses herbs and alternative medicines because that seems to work better for me than strong pharmaceuticals. I did buy the orthotics and they are comfortable, however the ones I purchased on Amazon for ⅓ the price have also been helpful. My only advice is -Hold off on his orthotics see if the Amazon ones work before investing in the more expensive ones sold by the office.

I inquired about getting a ingrown toenail removed through this in network insurance and after back and forth all morning, was advised by the receptionist, Katherine that the Dr. Would only help me if i paid out of pocket the full cost and I would be reimbursed the difference after the claim is sent to my insurance (which is not the proper procedure). Like what's the point of having insurance? She says the Dr can serve who ever he wants and that is how he does business. I thought Drs took an oath to not discriminate and serve everyone when they became Drs but I guess this Dr was too good to follow
