Services
Spruce Creek is family owned and operated by Joseph & Donna Novak. Located at the foothills of the Adirondacks, in Herkimer County, New York, in the Town of Salisbury, the 35 acre property is bordered by nearly a mile along Spruce Creek, a NYS-stocked brown trout stream, on the former Youker farmstead purchased in 1947 by Earl & Nina Youker.
Each of our campsites is newly-built with the most up-to-date equipment, 50' X 50', (twice the size New York State requires), and includes an angled stone parking pad for ease of parking and privacy, picnic table, and in-ground fire pit. Choose from open areas for slide-outs, woodsy, or creekside campsites.
All sites are 50' X 50', grassed, and include angled parking pad for ease of parking as well as privacy, picnic table, and in-ground fire pit. Site pad will hold 1 RV & 1 auto (extra parking in lot by bathhouse for longer RV owner's auto). Cancellation fee = $10 (+ 1 night's rate unless canceled more than 14 days prior to arrival date.)
Spruce Creek is a NYS-stocked brown trout stream. It is stocked each April right at the bridge by the campground. Bring your fishing pole (or purchase one at the store) and be sure to share a picture of your big catch! All water activities are at campers' own risk. Please note: Due to the extremely wet spring, we have not yet been able to open the chip 'n putt course.
We have candy bars, marshmallows, and graham crackers for s'mores, Hershey's ice cream novelties, as well as Adirondack and Pepsi products. We also have basic household supplies such as paper plates, napkins, utensils, laundry & dish soap. Take away the night's chill and enjoy a fresh cup of hot coffee.

Very clean campground, extremely well maintained. The owner will bring you directly to your site and make sure everything is working properly and even help you back up if needed. My wife and I had two vehicles here which one was parked on the grass. The owner did come ask us very politely to move the cars off the grass and to move our rug that we had out. This was a minor inconvenience, but if you look at the effort the owner puts into maintaining this campground and keeping it beautiful, I completely understood. He even allowed me to park one vehicle on an empty site right next to us. I am not

The property is surrounded on 3 sides by Spruce Creek waterfront and the owner has mowed about 15 acres of pasture and paths alongside the creek making for a WONDERFUL fishing, short hiking, nature trail area. There are brown trout in the creek, snapping turtles, geese, ducks, beavers, etc. Gorgeous piece of property, well maintained, super clean restrooms, adorable playground, grass everywhere. Love this hidden gem!!

We paid for a seasonal spot at this campground and arrived on June 2 nd. After we were there for a day or two we realized that my wife was allergic to the water because of all of the chlorine that he injects into the fresh water. The water was burning her skin and I told Joe the owner that we couldn't stay there because of this and he immediately rented our campsite to someone else. When we told him that we wanted to be reimbursed some of the 2,820 that we paid for the season he offered to give back 462 dollars. Mind you that we were there only three weeks after a lengthy argument with this man

We (2adults & 2 teens) arranged to spend 1 night w/ our 38’ fifth wheel. The gentleman (owner I’ll presume) was kind & helpful, making sure we took the correct route for the RV & helping w/ local information about dinner options.
Our boys said there was no hot water @ the showers but they said they were big, clean, & looked new, but did not check.
Located by a creek, 1 grandson did some fishing. The other grandson was happy w/ the basketball hoop.
The sites are roomy, but our 1 spot of concern was the large rocks placed along the ends of the sites. These rocks make it difficult to get a
