I am Coastal Miwok Native American and I wanted to have a birth for my baby in a calm supportive environment And really experience all the feelings that come with labor. When we figured out I was pregnant with my first baby we knew I wanted to go to bloom for a natural birth. From the moment I contacted them over the phone all we ever received was the most welcoming, considerate, and loving care.

My husband and I had heard great things about Bloom for years from friends so when we got pregnant we went to see for ourselves. We loved their prenatal care right from the start and always looked forward to our appointments. Adri, Heidi, Kristi, and Molly were all so wonderful - incredibly knowledgeable, warm, kind, attentive, responsive if we had questions at any hour, candid, informative... everything we could have wanted and then some. Their exceptional care continued to shine during our birth and postpartum experiences - we were just blown away by their level of expertise in so many areas

SO WORTH IT!!! Even my husband, who was skeptical at first, had an awesome experience and said he would 100% do it again and pay the money even without insurance.
I don’t think stars even begin to show how amazing bloom is! My experience with the midwives and their facility was so far beyond wonderful. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I don’t know where to begin raving about every little detail.
The prenatal care was amazing and I got to meet each of the midwives so I was familiar with them all. The hour long visits are wonderful because you really get to converse with them and

In writing a review, I find myself struggling to even do Bloom justice. It's so hard to describe an experience that transcends the physical and takes you straight to a primal state of being. I will say, if you're hoping for a birth without medication, an empowered birth that you'll look back on with complete awe, Bloom is the place to be. The Bloom team has become family to us. We've been lucky enough to birth all three children with them, which I think says a lot. To the pregnant and birthing people that would like to have an unmedicated birth: the care you will receiver at Bloom is beyond compare. If you are on the fence about it (or if COVID is making you rethink the hospital) take the leap of faith and you will not be disappointed.
We had our baby in December, the entire pregnancy was during the lockdown. Additionally, we are both Black/mixed race. I always knew I didnt want to give birth in the hospital. What that meant I wasn’t sure until I found Bloom. For me the concept of a hospital is to treat ailments, and act fast during emergencies. It was very hard for me to associate a hospital and birth. Birth is about new beginnings, regrowth, and is much more spiritual.
I have birthed both of my daughters with Bloom and from the moment of my first consultation I knew it was a perfect fit for me. The midwives at Bloom are not only highly educated and experienced but also grounded and compassionate. They have become my tribe and I wholeheartedly

If I only could leave 10 stars! This was my second baby with Heidi (birthing at home) and first (Covid) baby at the center. With all the worries of the mature age:) pregnancy and birth I can’t imagine it going better or smoother. I was under UCSF and Bloom joint care (due to a late miscarriage a year before) and we were so in tune and on top of it until I was fully released to Bloom. Going a bit overdue I can’t imagine being more supported before, during and after. I mean, months later I still call for support and endless knowledge they possess. Birth was so powerful and amazing for my husband

The experience I had at Bloom under Heidi and Kristi's care is absolutely priceless. I felt so loved and cared for throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. I had such a smooth labor and delivery, and I attribute it largely to the environment and care I received at Bloom. Please do yourself and your baby a favor and deliver your baby in one of their birthing suites. You will be supported with the best care in an environment that is warm and comforting.

We were so blessed in our experience with Bloom with our first daughter. I had huge anxiety issues with the idea of birthing in a hospital and really wanted to try a midwife but my husband was uncomfortable with the idea until he met these ladies and saw the facility. We looked forward to all our visits there and felt very confident in Heidi and Kristi's ability to keep us safe and guide us through our birth experience.
