The kitchen has and always will be the heart of Pleasant Valley. As the busiest room in our home, the kitchen area serves many needs. It is the place where meals are prepared with love, conversations take place, and memories are made. It is the area that most clearly says "home". Our open kitchen design lends itself well to all the food traditions of our heritage.
Pleasant Valley Personal Care wants to assist each family in choosing with confidence the most suitable senior living residence for their individual needs and lifestyle. Therefore, we recommend visiting all area options. I wouldn't recommend. Went there to put in an application and the energy in there was really uncomfortable. You can sence the sadness and negative energy. The people working there seem to not want to be bothered with us wanting to work there or the residents there. That place is too small and you can tell it's not regulated very well. It used to be a domestic violence shelter a year ago. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in there let alone my grandmother.

Mom and dad have been up here since about 5 - 6 months. They love it or more exact, they love the ladies that work here. Sometimes dad or mom will say that they wish they could be home again but dad will follow that up with: "I know we can't take care of ourselves anymore but these nurses here take real good care of us up here...we love them" and because of that we love them too.
Also, if something is not right with either of them or their medicine they are quick to call us to tell us of their concerns.
Honestly, they are really like part of our family. We made the right choice by choosing Pleasant
