In 2015, we established MBK Transport to assist in J & K Contracting's utility work. Today, our fleet of several tractor-trailer combos, dump trucks, side dump trailers and flatbed/lowboy trailers are on hand to help out with aggregate and heavy equipment hauls. MBK Transport is also available to provide interstate and intrastate hauls in Iowa's surrounding states.

Services
Founded in 2007, J & K Contracting is a full-service underground utility contractor. While we specialize in deep sanitary sewer, storm sewer, & water installation across Iowa, we also provide grading, excavating, and hauling services. From start to finish, we're equipped to handle demolition and/or installation of water utilities, including sanitary and septic structures, storm drainage systems, and grease interceptors.

After getting his start in the construction business as an operator/laborer with Horsfield Construction in Epworth, Iowa, he went on to work for Dave Schmidt Construction in Cedar Falls while attending Upper Iowa University.In 1995, Jeremy worked for ACI Mechanical in Ames as a plumber and foreman.

Inconsiderate company.... they are working on my street I just moved into. I could barely get in and out of my driveway to go places and would have to park at least a block away and walk to the house with a 6 month old.. I had already contacted the owners and they said they would talk to "cody" assuming that is the manager of the crew working. For 2 days he came up to let us know what they would be doing that day, then stopped. Tore up the part of the street right in front of our house and now there's a big hole so we can't get in or out. When I confronted the guy he claimed he came up to my house

Messiest construction company ever! Not only are they inconsiderate of residents in the area they’re working in.. they leave their materials all over the road and side walks for children to step over and potentially hurt themselves while they are walking to school.. I shouldn’t have to step over a broken shovel covered in tar/blacktop, street signs, or large screws and nails while walking my small child to school.. very unprofessional and not very safe at all..
