While we sort through this mandate, and step up our safety protocols, PowerKids Center remains open for currently scheduled classes. All currently enrolled PowerKids students have been automatically enrolled. Thank you for your continued support, and we can't wait to have you for 2021! PowerKids Center continues to work hard to be in compliance with Riverside County guidelines.
From our due diligence, we understand our four 20 foot rollup doors and abundant ventilation classifies our 14,000 square foot warehouse as "indoor/outdoor" space. This allows us to continue operations. PowerKids will continue to limit capacity. While outdoor spaces do not require masks for youth sport activity, we appreciate your consideration of our staff's comfort and safety by continuing mask wearing.

We've built our trampolines to be flush with the ground, so parents can rest easy knowing there are absolutely no raised surfaces to worry about.

Came in to sign my nine year old son up for classes now that soccer is over. Interested in body weight type workout, flexibility and core strength. Unfortunately, the receptionist was kinda mean and showed me the roster of possible classes. they didn't really have much for boys. the vibe is boys are really welcome and focus is on girls classes. dont waste your time.

Poor quality instruction/poor value.
Partner and I enrolled our daughter to give it an assessment for one trimester. Cost for this training is a factor, as each class works out to be about $20. For the money, each child gets a warmup session and averages 2-3 rotations on the equipment per class. The group of kids move among the apparatus. Over the course of our observation, our learner usually received approx 9 repetitions per station (18-20 reps per day). The instructor seemed like a high school part time assistant; although the consistency was positive, overall, she was low energy and overweight

I tried to bring my 12 yo competitive gymnast to Pkids for a couple drop in workouts while on vacation to the desert. At the request, the girl at the front desk was confused and rude, but said she would try to find out if it was possible. While we waited, we elected to show ourselves around. Gym is pretty modern looking, but i noticed immediately, a pungent haemophilus odor permeating the entire gym. i asked an instructor and she said they were trying to deal with the odor with an industrial air freshener. As a practicing Virologist in Atlanta, i can tell you the chronic odor is the result of an

Extremely dangerous for kids. Took my kids in for the Open Gym play time to play with their friends that take the classes. They let the kids run wild on the gym equipment with minimal supervision. The staff was completely disengaged-talking to each other and watching their phones. In the hour i could stand to watch, i saw 3 injuries and numerous close calls. including one little boy that landed on his head and appeared as though he could have broken his neck. This is the most dangerous thing i've ever seen up close. When a little one walked up and punched another kid, i tapped out and left. Complete

PowerKids Center has been such a saving grace for our family.
My daughter was at an old gym that was toxic and unhealthy. Her love for the sport was declining because of poor treatment.
PKC empowers young ladies.
Alison, the owner, and coach Danielle pride themselves and their coaching around faith, kindness, compassion and discipline.
PKC has options for all levels of interest in the sport, whether it be recreational, team, or elite. The owner and coaches take the time to learn what each child strives for, and does everything in their power to help that children reach their goals.
In my opinion

The coaching practices of this gym have drawn scrutiny from USA gymnastics safesport program. Our organization has made contact with 8 courageous former gymnasts who relate experiences of public humiliation and punishing training repetition that has resulted in permanent disability. more than 50 families have fled to other gym programs and 6 coaches have quit. All of the former athletes report progress in therapy and the 2 athletes with permanent disabilities are able to participate in other sports.

We got a text from Alison owner of Power Kids on Sunday afternoon and we paid her a visit at her office.
We had been avoiding this situation for 5 months because We knew she was gonna piss us off and she didn't disappoint.
She started off saying that we weren't getting credit for half of March, even though our girls didn't train the last half of the month due to the pandemic. No reason given. Just no refund for March. We stated to her that the $900.00 and change that she had offered to refund us was not even close to what we were expecting to be refunded. She went on to explain

This place is HOT! It was 110 outside today and humid. You would think that it would be air conditioned inside? Children are running around and jumping!!! Definitely don't reccomend this place for a birthday party or in general. We need fun places for our kid's in the desert that have AC.....This is definitely not one of them!

My daughter attends powerkids and I love it it's awesome I even recommend it to all my friends. However my low ratings is due to the fact that I had my daughter a party and I didn't like that I was rushed out we couldn't even finish eating cake before they grabbed the presents and started to load them in the vehicle and grab the food to put it away. They rushed us out due to the fact open gym was gonna start at 6 and stated that people arrive at 5:30. I was in the parking lot until 6:00 talking to a family member and not one person had showed up for open gym. And what really set

Just started at this place with my kids. Coaches are great--positive motivators who push students to reach full potential. Classes are fast moving and don't allow lag time. Great coach to student ratio.
Only reason they didnt get full stars--no air conditioning! It is a huge facility (positive), but there are only fans to cool the place (negative). It gets very stuffy. This probably allows them to keep their overhead down, which them to offer reasonable rates.

I had my twin boys 7th birthday party here. It was a fun party for the kids and parents! The coaches had awesome games they played with the kids and did a great job interacting with the kids. Everybody still talks about that party. After having a poor experience with a gymnastics party for my daughter at a different gym in Redlands, I wish I had made the drive to Powerkids instead.

We just had an awesome birthday party for my granddaughter at PowerKids. The equipment was amazing! Trampolines, foam pits, rope swings and zip lines, they had it all.
One thing that really stood out was the attitude of the people. The staff did everything from helping to unload the refreshments to scrounging up candles for the birthday cake. And they did it all with a smile. The coaches were attentive and extremely patient.
When my daughter suggested that we have the party at a gym, I had my doubts. The girls aren't gymnasts, and I didn't know what to expect. But boy was I wrong

Although this place is pretty cool, it could be much better. There are many equipment items for kids to learn on. However, that's sort of the downside. Because of the size of the facility, the equipment seems cluttered. Also, they could use a professional cleaning here. It pains me to see the American flag be so dusty!
The coaches do a good job with the kids. However, I think they run too many classes simultaneously. At times, kids (smaller ones) often go wondering through the other classes with no coaches available to stop them. Although they don't seem to mind, it can appear very

I previously gave them 3 stars because of the unbearable heat in the gym where the kids do their gymnastics but it appears they have made some fixes because it is MUCH more comfortable in there now. Staff continues to be great and they work very well with the kids. I definitely recommend Power Kids!

PowerKids Center is a nice gymnastic training facility. We take our young ones here for classes which teach the basics of body movement, balance and a few techniques. There are also advanced and intermediate classes through all ages. The staff is friendly. The location is tricky to find the first time as you can spot it from Washington, but when you get into the business area it disappears.
