Not every defendant in police custody will need a bail bond. However, with the economy in the state it is in and considering the fact that high bail amounts may be set for various misdemeanor or felony offenses, even for first time offenders, there are many Utah arrestees who will need to turn to a bail bond agency for the help they need to make bail.
All bail companies have a standardized fee, which is set by the Department of Insurance in each state. Standardization means to you, the customer, and to each bail company this fee is the same - across the board, with all bail companies. In Utah the fee is 10% of the value of the bond amount. It is legally charged by the bail company and is non-refundable.

Tiffany was absolutely amazing. Never had to use a bondsman before but she was in office very late and waited for me to get there after i called. Totall helped me out in a pinch last minute and short on cash. Didn't have to break the bank to get help and treated me like my business was valued and welcomed.
