I have had a couple of my Porsche's done by Wheel Recon - his process is so much better than some of his competition. I no longer live in Austin area - but may be worth the trip if I ever need wheels done in the future. Very impressed with Wheel Recon!!

Great quality and workmanship! Powder coated my wheels from black/milled to a gold, paint matched my center caps perfectly and powder coated my lug nut caps to match. Got a fresh set of tires to top it all off. Todd, Carson and the crew were great, highly recommend and I will be a customer for life.

Scuffed the left rear rim on my 2 month old STI. Naturally I was very upset with myself as I didn't think these could be repaired. A good friend referred me to Todd with Wheel Recon. I drove out to his shop and he did an amazing job repairing my wheel. Absolutely perfect. Todd is a great guy who runs a fantastic business. If you need wheel repair, go to Wheel Recon. Wheel recon is the only wheel repair business I use in Austin Texas. I run an automotive business that prides itself in high quality work and use other business' that do the same.
Todd runs one of these business's and returns wheels literally to "as good as new" in my experience.

I have a set of wheels on my S65 Mercedes that we thought would look much better if they were black to match the car. Todd came to my house, took the wheels and the color code and within a week had my wheels back and on my car. It looks so good it's like a new car with the awesome new matching black wheels.
I have another car that is white, it came with a set of wheels, that are white but with many blemishes. We opted to do the spokes black and keep the chrome.accents. Again Todd picked them up and had them done in a weeks time, even working around the holiday.

I called this place and it went straight to a standard voicemail. Hmm, is this a business or a personal cell phone? I called them later on in the day, I get a ring tone, still no answer. I left a detailed message; a week later, still no call back.
Optimistic from the reviews, I google them and see their website. I call both numbers and only one of them works. It rings, but still straight to the same standard voicemail.

I'd had my new Audi for 2 weeks and of course I badly scratch the rear rim. I didn't even think it was fixable. I was referred to Wheel Recon by a friend and I was not disappointed. I sent Todd a pic of my damaged rim and he said it was fixable. He came out to my house about a week later and within an hour my rim looked good as new. No matter how bad the rim looks give these guys a call...you won't be disappointed!

I got curb rash on my alloy rim after having it for only 3 months. Looked for someone to repair it, and saw nothing but great reviews on Todd. Sent him a photo of the damage and got a fair estimate right away. Came to my location, fixed it up, and now nobody can tell it was ever damaged. Highly recommending Todd to anyone with wheel damage. I utilized Wheel Recon to have some wheels refinished on my boss' Porsche Cayenne. We ran into an issue getting the wheels off the vehicle. Todd worked quickly and efficiently with Roger Beasley Porsche to get the job completed. We were charged a little bit more for the repairs ($25 more per wheel); but, it was worth the money to get the attention and service from Todd. I will definitely refer him and Wheel Recon to anyone in need!

Ive only had my new 2013 Audi TTS for 4 months. Hit curb and thought my wheels were forever ruined. Called up to my Audi salesperson who recommended Todd. He answered right away and was very friendly. He worked on my car today and did such a great job. My wheels look like new again. Really good guy as well. Im recommending him to all my friends.

I contacted this business on June 3, 2012 about fixing my Cadillac's right front chrome tech wheel and got the following response:
"Hi Steve,
This is Todd with Wheel Recon, chrome wheels are generally not able to fixed unless they are rechromed. In some cases we can bring them to a high polish. If possible send some pictures by phone 512 587 9892 or email and I get back to you ASAP. Thanks Todd Kennedy "
I responded with pictures and to date (June 16, 2012) have never heard another word from Mr. Kennedy.

Not paying attention i ran into the curb and scratched the wheels of my car, bmw 5 series. im VERY particular about my car looking good so i had the wheel recon guys repair the wheel. the next day they came to my home and repaired the wheel in less than an hour. once complete i was unable to find where the damages were, which is great! no color difference and smooth workmanship. great work guys!
