The home directly faces the beautiful San Francisco Peaks to the south, Kendrick Peak to the west, Saddle Mountain to the east and forested hills to the north. At 2,438 meters (8,000 feet) of elevation, the night sky is glorious and the summer evenings delightfully cool. Sunrise and sunsets can be readily seen daily as well as the rise and setting of the moon.
The Mountain Star has two master bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with a king) and a cozy, fully-enclosed loft bedroom (with 2 double beds). The main living area on the second floor contains a fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living room area, all of which face a gorgeous mountain view.

If you’re in Hochgurgl you cannot afford to miss this place! The restaurant/bar offers panoramic views over the surrounding alps and you will want to take advantage of the photo opportunities from the observation deck. The bar/restaurant is okay but I’d come for the view, not lunch as there are better options elsewhere.
