Services
The Beach Tanning Center is owned and operated by Mike Riddle. After working 20 years at UPS, Mike set out on the journey to open his own tanning salon. It all started in 1985 at the old Gaston Mall with only six tanning beds. We have been voted Best of Gaston multiple years in a row and noted an award-winning tanning center.
Your skin deserves a glowing review all year long, and you can get it at The Beach Tanning Center! We offer a variety of tanning packages, services, and products to meet your needs, whether you want a nice glow before vacation or want to stay tan all year round. We've come a long way from our roots as a six-bed salon; we now have our own standalone tanning center featuring 25 tanning beds!
At The Beach Tanning Center, we ensure that all of our products are undiluted, new, and ready for you. We won't ever sell something that we don't stand behind 100%. We partner with some of the top brands in the tanning industry including Designer Skin, Australian Gold, and Swedish Beauty. These are lotions you won't find in a typical department store but we carry them all on site.
This bed really sizzles. The Centauri is just one of the two beds in our 3600 series. It features 18 of our 160 watt super reflector lamps in the canopy and 18 of our new generation of Meridian 7.5% lamps in the bench. Our engineers have calculated numerous combinations of formulas with several of the best lamps in the business at many different wattages to bring you incredible results in a quick 12 minute session.
At Klafsun we have come to realize that parts and service after the sale is just as important as supplying you with a top of the line, quality tanning equipment. I left a Beautiful chain in 1 of the rooms a d they made little to No effort to *Help* me find it or get it back....The beds are nice but Don't WEAR your GOOD jewelry there! You know WHO and How many people went in that room..
but play dumb if that helps.ypu sleep at night- I guess since it wasnt yours it isn't as important. The beds are nice tho....

5 star service always! The salon keeps tanning lotion & goggles as an extra service to the clients. It is clearly stated on the paper you sign to take your lotion with you when your package has ended. We apologize to anyone who did not read & comprehend the salon policies as The Beach has been in business for over 30 years & takes pride in service to all clients.
