William T. Preston ("Bill") has been providing clients with legal counsel in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, probate, bankruptcy, business and real estate since 1980. His relationship with the law, however, dates back as far as he can remember. Growing up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bill learned firsthand from his father, Edwin Preston, and his uncle, John Preston, both reputable trial lawyers in Virginia Beach.
Braxton grew up on an island called Boca Grande on the west coast of Florida. In 2004, he graduated high school and began attending the University of Central Florida. In 2008, he graduated from UCF and was accepted to law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While most people work hard to make money and gather assets, not very many people take the actions necessary to ensure the money they've earned and the assets they've gathered are protected from the risk of outside influence. Probate is the process whereby an individual's estate is finalized and assets are distributed to his or her beneficiaries upon death.
There are two basic types of estate plans, Will-Based and Trust-Based. At the Preston Law Firm, we have the knowledge, experience, and skill necessary to properly advise and guide you in your choice.
A comprehensive estate plan, whether Will-Based or Trust-Based, will not only ensure the proper distribution of your assets upon death, but will also ensure that your trusted loved ones have the authority to care for you during your lifetime should you ever be unable to care for yourself.

Eric handled my fathers Estate excellently. I was so lost in this process and he made it 100% better. Giving great advice and doing everything he possibly can to ensure everything went smoothly. Every question I had, he had an answer for. I’m so happy with the outcome and I highly recommend!

Eric did an excellent job with my mother’s estate. He was professional and compassionate throughout the process, and he kept me informed. Any calls or emails to him were promptly answered. The office staff is also very friendly. I plan to use this firm again for mine and my husband’s estate planning.

Finding The Preston Law Firm to handle my Dad’s Estate has been a blessing. Having to deal with the death of a parent is hard enough, but when the attorney you originally trusted to close out the Estate files documents incorrectly, fails to communicate and return phone calls, and takes over a year to even begin any proceedings, I had no choice but to begin the task of searching for a new attorney.
In a quest to get replacement representation to handle my Dad’s estate, I was surprised that the Daytona Beach/Port Orange area had no willing attorneys to take over. I don’t know if it was due
