I was very happy with the accommodations and found this motel to be just adorable. I'm looking forward to another visit.

Where do I begin? We travel up north multiple times a winter and stay many places. Our 2nd day power went out seeing how we had 3 rooms rented 1 with no power so no heat 1 with partial power and 1 with full power we contacted office manager was helpful but couldn't fix issue called owner. Here is where the story really begins owner was extremely rude blamed us for issue and told us she was supposed to be at a lunch in traverse city and we basically ruined that we asked for refund so we could go stay somewhere else she said no refunds we will wait for power to come back on by this time no heat for

Im really giving this place 5 star because its quite unfairly rated very low. It was clean and cute. I would definitely stay here again. Don't let the lack of web presence hold you back, its a great affordable spot.

We stayed at a property over the holidays. I had invited several guests for a long weekend. We had nothing but issues. The driveway wasn't plowed when we arrived - even though we had given them a date of arrival ahead of time. The advertisement for the house listed a ping pong table but when we arrived there wasn't a ping pong table. We then had issues getting the fireplace working. The next evening, the heater quit working. It was more than 24 hours before it was somewhat working again. The work around ended up causing it to get so hot that a couple of guests had problems breathing. Several guests

Unfortunately there is not an option to leave O stars. My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to northern Michigan to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. We found what we thought was a cute rustic hotel online for a good rate. After we arrived the nightmare began. The office was locked when got there at 5:30 pm We called without any response for 2 hours. Then we were told our room was left UNLOCKED! Apparently security is not important here. Thankfully (kind of) the door was in fact locked after all. I now feel safe except now we can’t get into our room. And our phone calls are not

We checked in around 10pm and left at about 8 the next morning. Room was clean, I liked the log cabin like room. Ownership was easy to deal with. Shower and bathroom was nice. Playground was a bit dated, but still functional. I would stay there for a few nights.

It was cute and rustic and fine for what we needed- a place to sleep for a few hours and shower in the morning before continuing on our way. However, the WiFi was awful and I had no data reception there either and I wanted to watch something streaming to relax before bed. Overall, it was fine for what we needed but wouldn't be my first choice for doing something with the kids or an extended stay. However, if you want some solitude without any distractions from your regular life, this would be perfect for you. The manager is really nice and helpful, so I did appreciate that.

This is going to be a mixed review, with some highlights but plenty of warnings for the false advertising and money-grabbing tactics of the management. There was a group of 16 of us on a golf trip staying three nights. First off, the golf in Michigan is amazing, great value and such beautiful scenery. However this review is strictly for the accommodations part of it. The house was advertised as having sleeping space for 12-16 people. Unfortunately it did not, it only had sleeping for 12 people. 4 people from our group had to purchase their own air mattress and sleep on the floor. The accommodation
