The Wheeler family's ties to the boating industry began in 1951 when Vern Wheeler's passion for boat racing lead him to open a Mercury outboard dealership. He began by selling and repairing Mercury outboards from the automotive service station he owned and operated. As the marine portion of the business grew, he decided to concentrate on the boating industry.

I needed some parts for my Pontoon boat. I was in Nashville on other business so I went to Wheeler's to get them. They did not have what I needed in stock so I had to order them. They would not let me pay for them until they arrived. It wasn't long before I got a call saying my order was in. Long story short, I got what I needed at a reasonable price and in a short amount of time. Great service and reasonable prices. I recommend them if you want boating equipment or maybe a new boat. 😊
