The National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame was chartered by Congress in 1960 to serve as the national museum of agriculture and a memorial to farming leaders. Our mission is to provide education on the historical and present value of American agriculture and to honor leadership in agribusiness and academia.

Watch the awesome skills of the linemen as they compete. And there's fun for the entire family with animals, bucket truck rides, mounted police, face painting, cotton candy, food vendors and more! Get the details here. And we added a NEW EXHIBIT! "Hard Times: Life in America During the 1930s" - On view in the main museum's newly renovated gallery.
Services
The purpose of the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame is to educate society on the historical and present value of American agriculture and to honor leadership in agribusiness and academia by providing education, information, experience and recognition. Agriculture touches the lives of every living person.
The National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame serves to educate the public about the past, present and future of farming in America. Without the dedication and hardwork of the farmer we could not eat, wear the clothes we wear, or live the quality of life we enjoy today. Through our brick program you can show your appreciation of the American farmer and recognize a loved one at the same time!
The National Ag Center relies on volunteers to be a part of our mission, which is to educate the public about the history and future of agriculture in America. Individuals interested in scheduled volunteer hours can participate on a weekly, monthly or on-call basis. Group volunteer opportunities exist for families, clubs, companies and service organizations.
Education is at the forefront of our purpose and is interwoven in everything we do. Whether exploring the museum exhibits and living history displays on your own or on a guided tour, you'll gain a greater understanding of our agricultural past and future. We are continually amazed, challenged and motivated by the number of visitors with little knowledge of how agriculture affects their daily lives.
Our variety of uniquely curated agricultural artifacts and technology offer a glimpse into the evolution of agriculture to continue to provide an abundant and safe food supply. NEW EXHIBIT! "Hard Times: Life in America During the 1930s" - On view in the main museum's newly renovated gallery. Black-and-white photos portray life in America during the Great Depression and Dust Bowl eras.

Fascinating displays and beautiful facilities. We booked the barn for a birthday party - it's a lovely space we could decorate as we wished it has a TV, kitchen and is unique.
They also have many interesting displays and a ton of fascinating equipment. They do activities for families.

Sweet place to take a "learning" adventure! The staff was very kind and helpful. They even had special goodie bags for the kiddos to take home. There is quite a bit of things to look at and it's spread out over the property. Very cool!

Absolutely amazing preservation of early farming. I love antique farm equipment and they've got some one of a kind peices that are just fantastic. If you're anywhere near KC it's worth a trip to Bonner Springs!

Wonderful experiences!
They have a very cool Museum and a small farming town to visit. The National Linemans Rodeo holds their events out here annually, very interesting to see them compete. In early 2020 the KC Multi-Rotor drone racing club joined in and now use a space to hold drone races all year round!
Worth a visit!

We went to the museum on August 02, 17 there were a lot of things to see if you like tractors. The staff took us on a train ride and it was really fun. They had a big red shed, old classroom and a very old house with antique stuff and many more. We saw kids i think they also do day care. It was free and fun. Go and visit with a large group.
