Healthy people create a healthy community. Cordova Community Medical Center is a 23-bed Critical Access Hospital dedicated to providing the best possible healthcare to the Cordova community.
CCMC is both a National Health Service Corps approved site and a participant in the State of Alaska's SHARP (Supporting Health Care Access through Loan Repayment) program. Both programs offer opportunities for primary care medical and mental/behavioral health providers to have student loans repaid in exchange for service in our facility.
For day-to-day health needs of local residents and visitors alike, the Cordova Community Medical Center's Clinic offers expert care by board certified family practice physicians. Basic services are extended by offering clinic space to Anchorage-area board certified specialists. Our nurses will answer your questions and help you decide whether or not you need immediate medical attention.
Cordova Community Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital. We offer 24 hour a day 7 days a week emergency care to the Cordova community. Care is provided without regard to the patient's ability to pay. Our ER is staffed through an on-call roster of Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine physicians.
Cordova Community Medical Center's Long Term Care offers skilled nursing care to loved ones needing short term rehabilitation or more complex long-term care. Residents are welcomed by the staff - often familiar faces who have established a provider-based relationship long before an individual needs long term care.
