They forced me to have diagnostic that was necessary for what they tried to OVERCHARGE me for....sad! UPDATE. New Personnel! I'm leaving the previous comments to show contrast. The New Personnel is Caring, concerned and professional. Rae is definitely an asset to the team at Unique Auto with her knowledge, experience and professionalism! Craig and Mike both excellent techs in identification and correction. Recommend Craig also for custom items like for towing accessories to fabricate. Office staff extremely courteous and efficient. I have been reliant on Unique for multi vehicle service, auto body repair, and for vehicle sales..an Omaha Gem in the auto world. I have used Unique for twenty years.

The service is impeccable, Josh is one of the best staff members they have. The service is a 4/5 we’ve had a many of different things done and our recent experience had a hiccup. Brought our vehicle in and had to return the vehicle due to the stability control light coming on after service.They reassured us they would fix the issue, and accommodated us for this inconvenience. So all in all, still a wonderful place of business.

Initially had a good start with unique, they did one vehicle really well and was happy with the work done, on the back of that work, I sent my 4x4 in for heating coil, coolant leak, accident repair to body work and they also cut and programmed new keys for me. On completion, keys were fine, but when heating is used it brings up the engine light, they put the wrong expansion tank in and its too small, they modified where it sat in order to make it fit, i now have to run coolant low so that it has room to expand. Accident repair was good but it took a while as silly things were not completed. They

Ted and his team are professional, knowledgeable and customer focused.
My comfort level is off the charts. I know that my vehicle is in good hands and that everything will be done correctly.

I bought my car from here lol and every time I take my car their it's a nightmare it's in thier for a always like 5 days their slow they didn't even put my engine bay back together correctly also installed my headlights 2 days after I got my car back broken, just took my car their again within 2 days somethings wrong, I also asked them to look at my interior and order some parts to make the inside nicer my car was their with them for 5days after I pay and I get my keys some knucklehead asked me what's wrong with the inside so we can get it ordered like geese my car has been

I just bought my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee from unique Auto. It is a great clean car runs exactly and I have no problems with it. I also bought an extended warranty for 20 years. So if I have any issues with the car I shouldn't pay out of my pocket. And this includes new brakes. Who sense of extended warranty without breaks unique Auto does.
Besides, buying vehicles, you can get anything done on your car from oil change brakes a new engine. Unique Auto will do it and Vince will just smile at you and tell you what's up and what needs to be done and no BS around it. He would tell you straight

I inquired about a car thru here 3 days ago. I spoke to a guy named Brian the day after I sent a request about the car. I applied and sent pay stubs as he asked. When I didn’t hear back from him after sending my pay stubs I texted.. got no response. I then call and say hey Brian after u asked for my stubs yesterday afternoon I never heard back from you, not even a “hey got your stubs I’m working on it” or anything and that was at 12pm …and he literally says “ya I’m busy” !!! That’s it 👀 nothing else like; I apologize it’s been busy or I’ve been working on it or let me work

These guys were amazing! Specifically Brian, i was looking into buying a Mustang while deployed and they were great help, never had any issues, i called them often to get updates on paperwork and never once did i feel like a bother. The Mechanic's are inept. After keeping our car for almost 2 months we were eventually told after getting no communication that they were not able to find a distributor for a 82 Chevy Impala and instructed us to go online and look for it. On top of this we were charged over $300 for spark plugs and our car is still not starting . Maybe because we are Black because I I've never experienced anything like this before in my life.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR OR MONEY TO THIS LOCATION

My vehicle's cabin was smelling like rotten eggs and the battery was dead. luckily I live right next to Unique Auto, one of the employees who was super cool came to my parking space down the street, jumped my car and brought it to the shop. Everyone was super polite, concise, and honest. I was thinking that i'd need a whole new catalytic converter or a transmission flush but they quickly, i'm talking within an hour, found out that the battery in my volvo was 2 sizes too small, and it was burning diodes and creating the smell. I called the shop to make an appointment for a regulars service , the women on the phone was disrespectful and condescending . She also stated right off the bat that they charge $100.00 diagnostic fee . No other shop charged me $100 to bring the car in for an oil change to diagnose me that the car, for instance, is due for a break fluid change or tire rotation at the time of service.

In my opinion it is almost impossible to find an auto repair shop that you an trust. It seems that once you take your car to a shop, it's all down hill, you end up taking it back repeatedly for different things that suddenly start breaking.
BUT, no at Unique Auto, their work is thorough and they are trustworthy. The first time I took my truck to them, it was because of an error my truck was throwing, they took a look and said the Error was anomaly and the part it was saying was bad wasn't, but if I get the error again, to let them know. Any other shop would have replaced the part.

My RAV4 broke down while passing through Omaha for the day. From the moment I called Unique Auto, Vince was empathetic to my situation and very friendly. He invited me to bring the car in for an inspection - found out that my alternator was dead - and offered it to be fixed within a few hours. Vince and his crew saved our time table for our road trip - I am forever grateful! They are honest, good people, and I recommend them for any problem. Furthermore, they even gave us a loaner car so we didn't have to wait around car-less for half the day. Thanks again Vince and crew!

I needed to get some minor body work done on my Corolla. The body shop estimator, Corey, was able to fit the repairs into their schedule. He kept me updated on the repair process and when it would be completed. They gave suggestions if a part could be repaired rather than replaced. I highly recommend Unique Auto for body shop repairs.

Vince and Ted are good dudes. Even though it cost more than estimated (not their fault) they still did good work on my mustang and couldn't be more satisfied. Same day service and Vince called to keep me updated unlike some shops around town where you have to bug them 5x a day to see if your car is done, they delivered as promised and quality repairs done at average pricing. Didn't over sell. These guys know cars give them a try you won't be disappointed. JJ

I'm sure these are good guys, but they weren't honest with us. Sadly, very typical shop where they were overconfident and cocky about their abilities. They quoted us on a transmission rebuild for 15 hours and it took them over a week. Each day they said it would be done the next and sent us text messages instead of a phone call when it wasn't ready. Very unprofessional. We had a deadline they agreed on. We told them we would take it elsewhere if they didn't feel comfortable working on it. They assured us they could handle it. We missed our own wedding because of it.

I took my wife's van down to Ted and Vince because it would not start for her. Come to find out it was a loose battery cable. They were honest with me and instead of saying there was more wrong with the van than what was actually wrong they tighten the cable and I was on my way. I have since and will continue to recommend Unique Auto to anyone that has issues with their vehicles.

Will definitely be a returning customer! These guys had the sad task of walking me through the many repairs my car needed and were very upfront with me about cost and expectations. I ultimately decided that it was time to say goodbye to my beloved auto, but working with them made me feel like I made a very well-informed and smart decision. I also appreciated that they didn't assume I know nothing about cars because I'm female. They were quick with checking everything out and contacting me before doing any repairs. I highly recommend them.
