He graduated from the University of Illinois (Champaign/Urbana) in 1969 (cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1973. Mr. Friedman is a member of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court among others.
