Awful banking experience. Their staff is very bad about following up with you. I have been working with Ben and I am assuming he is not measured on his ability to get back to his clients. I have tried numerous times over the last few months to get ahold of him or at least get a call back. I guess I will just keep making payments on my loan, but it should would be great if Midwest offered any kind of customer service.

Although, I have had some issues regarding the fraudulent control policy. MidWest not having my correct phone number. Made quite a mess of a breakfast for me. The staff however, acted very quickly to help me out of a situation on a decline breakfast payment. I do live out of state now and could easily get a different credit union. I believe Midwest actually cares and they tried their hardest to help.. In this day and age. That alone can be quite difficult to find in any company. Thank you Midwest you are ALL 5 stars.

The payment notice I received was on May 30 and the payment was due on June 1st. The notice was printed on May 22 and sent thru the mail. They set the customer up for late fees and failure from the beginning. Thankfully I didn't go through them for my bike purchase. I will be talking to my husband about refinancing his loan through someone else.

It blows my mind that there is no way to make a principal-only payment for a car loan. I can’t do it online and so I went to this location and they told me it’s impossible. I questioned this, as an employee at the DuPont location did so for me in the fall. I was informed she was not allowed to do that. So I asked how I can make a principal only payment if they can’t do it at the bank and I can’t do it online and I’ve never once received a statement so I don’t have the ability to mail in a payment. Their response, “if it goes to collections.” ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?

I was HOURS late paying my car payment online - so when I selected to pay the current month the system automatically decided I should pay the following month also and pulled a double payment from my regular bank causing overdraws there. There should be some kind of popup at least telling you that the next months payment is going to be taken even though you didn't request that!

Didn’t get a bill for first payment for auto loan. Found a welcome letter in the mail and was able to almost create an account—needed to call in to finalize since they wouldn’t allow me to add
My email. It was 3pm mst and they were closed. Got a late fee due to this that they refused to waive l, a $6 pay over the phone fee (what?), and was spoken to very rudely. I could have done more to be proactive on the first payment, but I have never had this bad of an experience with a bank as a new customer.

Worst bank ever they turned my Moms car over to collections after it was wrecked because of letter from tow company . She was a week before dieing and her insurance paid off note but needed title to settle with me for equity and car was left to me in will. Collections manager completely lied and said her insurance had title and after processing would send it. I called her insurance myself since I was her power of attorney and executor of estate. There corporate office did not receive title. Reason I say he lied cause he said he called them and they had it. This is the sleeziest bank I have ever

Account was opened for me with an auto loan. When the loan was paid off, it was over paid. Instead of mailing a check, they just deposited the refund into my saving account and began charging me $5/mo. They only send me statements quarterly, so they stole 10 bucks before I even knew it was there. Even Bank of America is more honest than this.
