This was a great place to stay. The hosts were very accommodating as we had to stay another night due to a snowstorm that came through. The owner was very helpful regarding the road conditions, routes etc. When we decided to stay the next night he gave us a bunch of recommendations on things to do in the city.
I love the retro bathrooms and they were very clean.
We actually booked another night on our way back through town on our way home. I would highly recommend.

Eagle RV/Campground in Thermopolis has become our home away from home. Dennis and Kristine are just wonderful and make us feel at home every time! They are hardworking folks and their campground shows it. Always clean and well kept. We love the trout fishing and hot springs in Thermopolis. After a day of fishing the river like the river rats we are it’s great to come back to camp and relax in their wonderful campground. We tell everyone we meet that this is the best campground around! Can’t wait to return in a few weeks!

We loved our stay here. Dennis greeted us when we arrived and showed us to our site which was well-shaded and plenty large enough for our 32' camper and Yukon XL. Lots to do in the area as well. We visited the hot springs pools, the superb dinosaur museum, and the petroglyphs about 20 miles outside of town. Thermopolis is well worth a visit and the Thai restaurant in town has great take-out! Oh, don't forget to visit the rock shop on your way into town. Their prices are excellent and the owners are a trip! Great selection of local stuff and fossils from elsewhere, too.

This is a great park that we stayed in the evening after we left Yellowstone. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable about sites in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous drive through Wind River Canyon to arrive at the park. The RV sites are level and the park is quiet. DVDs and books are available in the store as well as other necessary items, like ice cream! We would love to visit again and spend more time sight seeing in Thermopolis!

This RV park was exactly what we needed after exiting Yellowstone NP at the east gate yesterday. It is quiet and well-maintained with electric/water/sewer not to mention cable & wifi. Good Verizon cell service. Of the RV services, we only needed electric, but it's all available. The owner was accommodating and helpful. Site was level, so no need to unhitch our 17' travel trailer. Traveling through the area towards home rather than exploring the area, but will keep this RV park in mind if we return.

I was hesitant at first because of the lack of email confirmation like most others now a days. I actually called twice throughout the year to verify registration. Since arriving has been one of the absolute best rv parks I have been to. Traveling with two kids and second trailer for toys. They ensured the second trailer was in sight,(AS THEY WOULD WANT IF IT WAS THEIRS) Not to mention free cable box and free video rentals. Best surprise of our trip, the reservation we were most worried about turned out to be the best.

Great place to stay. Very friendly, kind, just great people. Check out is at 11am and they let us park our camper on their grounds in front of the office so we didn't have to pull our camper all over Thermopolis, Wyoming. We will definitely stay there again and recommend to everyone needing a place to stay. They even have cabins. Thank you so much for your great hospitality.

What a great little gem. Our family has been on the road for a week and we are passing through Thermopolis on the way out to Mt Rushmore and stopped at Eagle RV park. Super happy friendly and helpful staff, power, water, laundry, showers, WiFi. Just what we needed (we had only have power in two parks before this and none of the other stuff). Cute little town and close to the Springs for a nice soak. Family friendly. And they have little cabins as well. Small kids area, and a picnic area with BBQs for you to cook out!

This RV park is for people who stay long term or prefer to sit inside their RV and watch TV all day and night. DO NOT camp here if you want to sit around a camp fire and enjoy time with friends and family. Quiet time starts at 10:00pm. We were cleaning up and putting out our campfire at 9:50pm and another guest came over and yelled at us for being too loud. It wasn't even 10pm yet! We were so turned off by this. I think a large problem is everything is this place is a bit overcrowded and RV's are on top of each other. There is no privacy here. Not only are guests rude, but the staff are

Very friendly staff and great facility. Welcoming and helpful, amenities were nice, we really enjoyed ourselves. After guiding us through the spot, the owner took the time to explain some of the cool attractions in Thermopolis. I had forgotten lighter fluid and he let me borrow some free of charge. There's a great playground for my kids to play on. There's also free cable, a good selection of free DVDs, and a book swap.
I noticed in one of the other reviews a complaint about the price, but I thought the price was extremely reasonable for what was offered. Would stay here every time.

It's not the park, it's the owners! They are so friendly and willing to help with anything. Dood ( yep, that's his name) is extremely helpful in most anything you need. We couldn't figure out the cable TV and he came to "educate" us. He is the hardest working young adult I've met. When he is not helping others he is mowing the lawn or other park responsibilities.
They are compassionate, too. A vet came in, asking for a place to stay as they had traveled very far and just too tired to continue. The park management found a place for them even tho the park was

This is the most family friendly run RV Parks, which we have experienced in our travels over the past few years. Dennis, Kristine & Dood provide a well kept RV Park and personally walk their customers to their site when checking in. Nice laid out sites, with great shade trees and plenty of lawn and gear for the kids to play on. Nice barbecue and campfire area, plus it is a great place to relax or head over to the Dinosaur Museum or Mineral Baths in town...

Best RV park we have ever stayed at. We stayed here while I worked outside of Thermopolis for 7 months. The owners are some of the best people we have ever met. We have a 38' 5th wheel camper and it fit easily. It's super quiet and has gorgeous trees. They also have propane there so never had to load bottles up and go get them filled. They also have ice in the office so we could avoid gas station stops on the way to Boysen Lake in the summer.

An extremely nice place to stay, whether passing through to Yellowstone or staying to visit the fossil digs. The owners were very friendly, courteous, helpful and very service oriented! We didn't have a reservation but they did everything to ensure we got situated in our spot for the evening. The park was very quiet, clean, peaceful and the people friendly throughout. Thank you!

I really liked this place. The owner was very friendly and thorough and let us know about all of the nearby attractions. The park was organized albeit the spaces were close together. But everyone was very friendly and we were able to make friends with a fun couple from San Antonio who gave us hints on Yellowstone as it was our first trip and their fourth. The shop had fresh local corn and the bathrooms were clean and showers very nice and roomy. I would definitely stay there again and after renting the RV, I may buy one as the experience was really fun. Thermopolis was also great with the

Best Rv park service ever.
Even when I called, Dennis was so helpful, making sure we could get 2 spots together.
He and his family run this place since may 2014, and you can feel their kindness throughout this place.
Shady level Rv spots, nice grassy tent spots, and tiny cute cabins, just across from the river. We were amazed at how clean and attractive the bathrooms were. Dog friendly and person friendly;)
They even brought in a Great diesel mechanic when our truck needed a repair and he saved us $400-500 and got the job done great in one night with a house call!

We have been at this RV spot for several days, and will stay again next time we are in the area. CLEAN and safe, with hosts that are wonderful. Much privacy in a spot with dappled sunshine. One downside is the road noise but that settles down just about the time I was ready to retire, so really no big deal. You will be happy with the accommodations!
