DOROTHY MANNFOLK began her public relations career at a specialty firm in Los Angeles where she handled media relations, special events planning, and account management for countless high-end fashion, beauty, and retail clients. It was here that she noticed a lack of effective public relations representation for emerging fashion, lifestyle and beauty brands, and established Mannfolk Public Relations.
Her goal: To give a voice to every brand she represented. Since striking out on her own, Dorothy has nurtured numerous fledgling labels into globally recognized brands like American Apparel, Wen Hair and Body Care, and 3Lab cosmetics. She also spearheaded campaigns for internationally known companies including American Rag Cie, luxury jewellery designer Margot McKinney, Sabo Skirt and Showpo as they launched into the U.S. market.
