Larry's family has been in the flooring business for over 40 years. His father ultimately ran a chain of Retail Flooring Stores in Pennsylvania. In 1989, He bought Larry a set of installation tools and said, "you might need these some day" and put him to work with one of their crews. Larry graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor's degree in Advertising.
He spent a decade helping companies fine tune their advertising messages In 1997 he seized an opportunity to participate in a Management Consulting firm. Larry helped provide sales and management training to hundreds of businesses. Most of them small sub -contracting firms. He came to understand and be adept at optimizing the efforts of these companies, and these experiences came full circle in 2001 when he founded Business Floors.
