Hourglass Ink is dedicated to a clean, sterile, and creative tattoo experience. While striving to embrace new technology in our industry, we find it best to use disposable equipment whenever possible. Any equipment that is reused is sterilized with hospital grade sterilization standard. Our studio is owned and operated by Rob Levis, who has tattooed in the Worcester, MA area since 2006.
In that time, Rob has literally done thousands of tattoos while perfecting his style. Rob specializes in black and grey and color realism, but is well rounded in all aspects of tattooing. You will always be welcome to view all of our artists' portfolios and choose the artist that is the best fit for you.

Services
Please follow these important instructions EXACTLY if you want your tattoo to heal properly. Also, stay out of direct sunlight and do NOT soak or submerge your tattoo for at least two weeks. Showering is ok, but get in and out. Wash your tattoo by hand with non-scented antibacterial soap such as dial pump soap with as hot water as you can stand without burning yourself.

Levis is an amazing artist who listened to my ideas and transformed them into a perfect tattoo. He was professional and fun. Put me at ease from the first minute. No I set an appointment with an artist of yours for my birthday. A artist who had previously done a piece on me that I've yet to be able to get touched up because they've bounced around so much. We scheduled the appointment about 3 week prior. We discussed tattoo ideas/placement for my spouse and I. We were planning on spending >$1000 for the two tattoos as we'd both sent . The artist reached out two days prior after we'd already confirmed and canceled the appointment as well as messaged saying that because we didn't message back 3 days prior that we were no longer aloud to book with them. Came here around 2013? and got tattooed with my sister by Robert and we loved his work and professionalism. (We got our sides done and there was no discomfort about having our shirts pulled up). We came back in 2020 and booked an appointment with the newer girl Edy. Her work is beyond AMAZING! She has her art work hung on the wall and its mind blowing! She has this amazing artist's mind that can design a tattoo better than you imagined. She is super nice and easy to talk to making the tattoo process easier. She's very patient if you have low pain tolerance. Her tattoo work is the best I've seen

I have gotten 3 tattoos done by the owner Rob. He always does amazing work and I couldn’t be happier with the results. His skill at tattooing and attention to detail is why I would never get tattooed by someone else. He always makes sure I leave with something I’m happy with, even if it means changing the design I had in mind. He doesn’t hold back, and ultimately wants to make sure you leave with a quality tattoo. It also helps that he’s a funny guy and provides lots of good conversation and laughter while he stabs you repeatedly with a needle covered in ink.

Stopped by yesterday after reading several reviews and looking at several different tattoo shops in the Worcester area and ultimately deciding on Rob and Paco. I knew that I was in good hands with either, as their work is beautiful. After leaving, I knew that I needed to leave a review. I just can't say enough about this shop. These two are playful and fun, but very professional. The shop is clean and inviting, and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Last, my tattoo, which is a memorial to my deceased brother, is BEAUTIFUL! Thank you, Paco!

After searching the web and looking at the different shops in and around Worcester I settled on Rob and his shop Hourglass Ink and he did NOT disappoint. He is an amazing talent and works to make sure that you have an excellent piece that you can be proud to wear. I had a great experience. I searched via the web / Facebook looking for a local artist that was into realism. Found him, met him, booked him (with a deposit.) and had a great experience all around. Rob was very diligent in showing me all around the shop/ what tools he uses etc. The shop is very clean and comfortable. My tattoo is a memorial to my father and Rob did a great job interpreting exactly what I wanted. I love my tattoo. I have been stopped in public to be asked where I got it done. I couldn't have had a better experience anywhere else.

I've had four tattoos done by Rob at Hourglass Ink and it's the only place I'll ever get work done. The studio is immaculately neat and clean. Rob is an amazingly talented artist and I absolutely love his work. I've recommended many friends and family members to his studio and will continue to do so. Rob is an superb artist!! Very laid back environment, felt very comfy and at home. In love with my tattoo and plan on sticking with Rob as my go to guy!! I would most def recommend Hourglass Ink to my friends and anyone looking to have work done!! Prices are very good considering he is a great artist. Like the fact that they are always trying to come up with new ideas like the raffle tickets and the ideas contests!! Very creative way to bring new customers and keep old ones!! Can't wait to go back and have some more work done!! Won't be going to any other shop from now on!!
