Purchased flood insurance based on Mr. Olin's recommendation back in '03 and renewed for 5 consecutive years until letting it lapse in 2010. Then in August 2017 I told Mr. Olin I wanted to renew the flood coverage. This time he unequivocally said it would be a wast of money since the policy would not settle a claim given the way my property is laid out. My property hasn't changed since '03 but Mr. Olin's recommendation has. That leaves me feeling I wasted $920 in premiums for insurance that, according to Mr. Olin, is now a waste of money.
