Services
At Legal Language Services, we've assisted in hundreds of thousands of legal proceedings including hearings, mergers and acquisitions, government applications, and workers' compensation claims. Our professional staff is expert in legal interpreting, translation, and transcription in 200+ languages and dialects.
With almost four decades of experience effecting service in more than 90 countries, Legal Language Services is a global leader in providing international service of process. LLS consults on strategic approaches to obtaining evidence abroad. Our practical experience in supporting and defending US evidentiary requests before foreign courts can make the difference between success and failure.
Undertaking overseas service without specialized assistance is fraught with risk. Common problems include non-service, quashed service, dismissal of a lawsuit, or the inability to enforce a judgment. Every country operates under different treaties, laws, and procedures. As such, service of process - let alone evidence requests - are complicated.
Has your foreign client been served with a Summons and Complaint or a Request for Evidence? Do you need to determine whether the service complied with relevant treaties and laws? Our in-house experts, including attorneys and paralegals, can advise on whether such documents are compliant with applicable treaties and the procedural requirements of both the country where the service originated and the country where your client resides.

Unfortunately, I'm another translator who has to report that this company doesn't honor payments to its translators within the time agreed upon. I received multiple payments many months late after due payments requests. I'm still owed payments over 6 months overdue, but haven't heard any response since social distancing started. I hope they're well and I eventually receive my payments.

Agency does not pay their interpreters. Pay was accurate and on time when i first began working for them. After a few months pay was inconsistent. When i informed them i would not provide services until payment was remitted and included late fees, which were outlined in terms of service agreement they signed, they ceased all communication. Shame on them for taking advantage of independent contractors trying to make a living.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I worked there for just under 3 months. They had me take a background test (which I had to pay for) and then delayed the result as long as possible by telling me "its still processing, we have to wait". They did this little routine until just before the three month mark hit (coincidentally this was just before my benefits would have kicked in, costing the company $$$). One day they asked me to go into the boss's room, and in about 120 seconds said something went wrong with the background test and they have to let me go (I have never done anything
