You won't find many companies here in the Midlands where three generations of a family have been actively involved in running the business, but delivering a quality product and service has long been a family affair for the Price family, who own and operate Ace Glass Company (Our Team). Fred Price, Sr. started installing glass in Columbia in 1939.
He established Ace Glass Company in 1963 and played a key role in running it and making it the company that it is today. Fred Price, Jr. worked many summers as a youth. He graduated from The Citadel in 1975 and started working full time for his father; right after graduation. He bought the business from his father in 1983 with a vision to expand and that is what he did.

Horrible place! CONTRACTORS BEWARE! They over charge for sh.ty work and won’t completely fix issues when asked. Windows were literally shaking in the frame after spending countless days with them. Manager/owner slapped some silicone on it and told me not to touch for a few hours. After paying over $100+ for it. Frame is uneven and won’t even fit back in the window frame. Customer service is rude and very impatient. Owner doesn’t care much about anything but the money. Got 3 windows repaired and had to keep taking 2 of them back and letting them “fix” it over night. About 14 days now and

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR GLASS! My glass had a chip in it and I called my insurance company and advised them and they gave me a list and ace was the first one so i went with them. BIGGEST MISTAKE. the guy came out to replace the windshield and after the trim around the glass was damaged so bad. it honestly looked like a 4 year old did the work. i reported the damaged to them and they tried to file another claim with my insurance company saying i didn't like the way the trim looked. NO IT WAS DAMAGED. then they tried to say it was already dry rioted...my car is only 7 years old. i have had windshields

Ace is not a good place to go years ago they use to be good but not now they are rip offs they wanted to charge me $75.00 to check for a water leak and twice they told me it wasn't a glass issue I took my car to another glass company they replace it . And it was a glass issue my insurance company took care of it I paid nothing

I don't begrudge a company charging a premium to do a good job, but there is a difference between making an honest living and taking advantage of people. Ace tried to charge me $220 to replace a 2 sq. ft. window pane. I did it myself for $10, including buying the glass, cut at Lowe's. It took me less than 10 minutes. What on earth was going to cost so much to have Ace install it? I could have replaced the whole window for $200. If the job wasn't worth your time, you should have just said so, instead of sticking it to me and hoping I lack the sense to question it.

I called three separate windshield repair companies to get a quote for replacing the windshield on a 2010 Chevy Traverse. We got the quote and scheduled the appointment with Brooke, who was the most professional person we talked with when comparing the 3 companies. Lorne was the service tech. He was prompt and very detailed. In addition to great service, they were also the most reasonably priced. I am very pleased with this company!
