We are Dennis and Julie Day. Several years ago we discovered Paradise and purchased Owls Well, our cabin on Big Creek. Two years ago we decided to leave the city and move full time to our getaway in Ashford WA, located 5 miles from the Nisqually entrance of Mount Rainier. We love the peacefulness that rural living provides.
We are avid hikers, kayakers, skiers, but mostly we just love the outdoors. We have so many friends and family visitors asking for a place to stay when visiting that we decided to bring our passion for Mount Rainier to you and your family. Services
Our Getaways are located minutes from the Southwest entrance of Mount Rainier. You will enter the park at the Nisqually entrance which is the only year round entrance for vehicle traffic into the park. Once inside the gate you will have access to Longmire and Paradise areas of the park.
Longmire is located 6.5 miles from the park entrance; it is a National Historic District and the location of the National Park Inn, Longmire Museum and Wilderness Information Center.At Paradise you will find the Visitor Center and the Paradise Inn. Our getaways are located within minutes to some of the best cross country skiing areas.
