Services
There's a comforting rhythm here, one that soothes and engages, cares for and imparts joy. Surrounded by five acres of farmland that include a barn, lake and pastures, Apple Grove was built in 2009 and designed to look like a residential home, not a health care facility. Locally owned and personally managed, Apple Grove assisted-living residence is solely dedicated to Memory Care.
Located on five acres of scenic land, Apple Grove was designed and built to look and feel like a residential home. Great care is taken to make residents feel comfortable and at home. Common areas are filled with a mix of familiar decor and antiques, and personal items and mementos decorate common and private rooms.
Looking for day care, respite or assisted living for your loved one suffering from Alzheimer's or dementia can feel overwhelming-and the pressure intense. This is possibly one of the hardest decisions you've ever faced. Arming yourself with knowledge is empowering and will help tremendously as you navigate this transition.
With one in four families caring for a senior relative, caregiving is a common daily routine in many people's lives. As rewarding as it is, this routine can at times be emotionally draining and physically exhausting, particularly when caring for someone suffering from a chronic illness such as Alzheimer's or dementia.

A comforting environment for my mom, who found the staff, owners and surroundings to be a safe place in her confusion. She took part in crafts, which was always her favorite thing to do. I was glad to know she was secure and well looked after during her time at Apple Grove. It helped me have piece of mind.

The one star is because there is not anything lower , I took my mother for her first day and I could not get anyone to answer the door intercom , no one to answer the phone, no one to answer the emergency number and went around and knocked on all the outside doors , with this kind of neglect I would not leave my dog here

This facility is a joke. You are supposed to be a Alzheimer’s care group. What do you expect every patient to be nothing but roses and unicorns? These patients are the most vulnerable and sometimes get aggressive it’s part of the disease. If you’re not equipped to handle these patients stop calling yourself a Alzheimer’s facility!

This is the third facility where we looked for assistance with care for a spouse with Parkinson’s and dementia.
The following list will reflect my observations from the past six months and spending up to 25 hours weekly at all times of day visiting the facility.
• The Apple vision seems to be: Provide a community and environment that the resident feels part of, with encouragement, to be active in everyday events and adventures throughout the facility.

The Staff and Administration at Apple Grove are truly remarkable. The care and attention the team provides to Alzheimer and Dementia patients is so heart felt. The engagement and interaction by the administration to ensure family members are satisfied with the level of service makes them truly unique. In my search for a 24 hour care facility, I visited/interviewed seven facilities throughout Shelby County to include Germantown, Collierville, Bartlett and East Memphis, I selected Apple Grove and they’ve exceeded my expectations.

I regret ever moving my dad into this place. The administration act like children. The nursing department is substandard at best. If your loved one has any medical problems outside of Alzheimer’s itself, or if there’s a likely chance they will develop medical problems in the future, do NOT send them here; send them to a highly vetted facility that will be able to accommodate their long term needs. Your loved one won’t even be treated for a simple UTI; they will be sent to the ER each and every time. The CNAs were also substandard; my family & I would ring the call bell & often waited 45 minutes
