J. Simon Ivey, MD, completed medical school at Drexel University and a five-year residency at Temple University Hospital. His work has been featured in plastic surgery journals and at international conferences, and he's board certified by the American Board of Surgery. However, what most sets him apart is that he's one of few plastic surgeons with additional fellowship training beyond plastic surgery in face, pediatric, and craniofacial surgery.
Dr. Ivey's private practice is located in Kihei. His staff have been trained to give you the best and most personalized care possible. Our procedure room is cutting edge and has Tesla backup batteries in case of power outage. Dr. Ivey enjoys performing procedures under local anesthesia if possible as it eliminates the risks of general anesthesia and avoids narcotics.
As we age the structures of the face undergo atrophy and also gravitational changes. Facial rejuvenation is one of Dr. Ivey's areas of expertise. In milder cases replacing the lost fat with fat grafting may be all that is needed to restore the appearance. In more severe cases, repositioning the deeper structures of the face and neck may be required.

Very pleasant experience. I did not know what to expect but the front desk staff were both friendly and professional and even though I arrived early they allowed me to immediately meet with Dr Ivey. Dr Ivey was also easy to talk to and answered all of my questions regarding my issue. I left feeling quite comfortable that I had found the right doctor.

I first went there for a consultation in Feb 2021 & everyone was so welcoming, from the front desk to the back office. Dr. Ivey answered any questions that I had. Fast forward to Nov 2021, I decided to proceed with my procedure & Gretchen was very helpful every step of the way! Got my procedure done a month later and the staff was awesome through it all!!! I would definitely recommend Dr Ivey & his staff!

My first visit to Ivey Plastic Surgery for a consultation I left leaving with a renew sense of Self-Confidence but more towards Empowerment. Dr. Ivey’s way of explaining the procedures were basic easy to comprehend. My trust in Dr. Ivey’s recommendations of what the results from surgery “a little is a lot” his procedure was not to over due To Much. Of course, what comes from our high expectations.

When I got to the office, I was waited on immediately to take care of the new patient information. Then taken right into the exam room. It was only 2-3 minutes before the doctor came in. He could see the place where a tiny shard of glass was in the tip of my right index finger. This was painful when using it, especially since I'm right handed. He said he could remove it right away. In the procedure room, Dr. Ivey and the 2 nurses were professional and quick to get it done. Thank you for the wonderful care.

I went to Dr Ivey to repair a very horrible incisional hernia from a previous back surgery I was so upset that I stopped wear a bathing suit and stopped surfing and going to the beach when people were around. It had created a lack of support for my back making continuing major back issues due to the on going lack of abdominal support. When the surgery was done he had to repaired the hernia and so much more AND it turned out amazing! I am so happy my back is strong I stand up straight again I feel confident and bought a new bathing suit!! I am reclaiming my active life pain free with strength and

Dr Ivey is knowledgeable and compassionate and remembered every part of initial requests made before surgery for months afterward during follow up visits. The survey itself was successful and delivered exactly what Dr Ivey said it would. Be is an excellent medical professional.
In addition, the office and medical staff were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly and helped turn a traumatic experience into something much more manageable.

Change of revue!!!. I am very unsatisfied with Dr Simon Ive's work. I was really excited to have my procedure of my face fat transfer done. I worked hard to save up and was disappointed with the results. He liposuction some fat from my belly which now looks a little deformed...my face is back to how it originally looked from when we started from.
