Dental emergencies occur when you least expect them. When a dental emergency occurs, the most important aspect of handling the emergency is to have your child brought to our office as soon as possible. Should your child complain of a toothache, have them rinse their mouth copiously with warm salt water to flush out any debris that may have accumulated.
Flossing is a very important daily step in maintaining good oral hygiene. Dental floss is a thin string that can be waxed, unwaxed, plain or flavored. The technique can be awkward to do at first, but with practice, flossing will become easier and together with brushing, should be a part of ones daily routine.

The entire staff is amazing at Dr. Mercurio’s office. My 3 year old daughter’s first experience at the dentist was extremely positive because of how comfortable they make the children. Kerry, the hygienist explains exactly what each instrument does before she uses it. I highly recommend Dr. Mercurio’s office.

We have two children now ages 13 & 10. We've been going to Dr. Tina's for the past 10 years and feel they are like family. The whole crew is fantastic. The front desk is welcoming and Maria always has a smile to greet you. Patty and Tricia are the best dental hygienists. They are always patient and ease the stress of the visit. Dr Tina is… very efficient and also always a smiling friendly face. We are so fortunate to have been blessed with this wonderful crew. They are all truly the best!!! They are very professional and know how to make kids happy.

Going to the dentist with my kids was always stressful, until now. My experience at Dr. Tina's office was amazing. Dr. TIna was great with my kids -- very patient and experienced. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. The office space itself is nicely decorated and clean (which really impressed me). Great location and easy parking. So happy to find such a great dentist for my kids!!!
