Overall I was satisfied, even my defense Attorney. They walked with me every step of the way. They did not even price gouge me like other places I called. I felt they were more genuine and really concerned about the health and wellbeing of me and my child.
Since then my child has been relocated and I am gearing up for prosecution for these uninhabitable conditions we have been living in. I am rehiring them for court if need be. They provided so many answers to what we have been suffering from mentally and physically. Do not spare the price for your life.

Okay experience. We requested a mold inspection including crawl space, which came to just over $600. I thought this would have included a detailed review of the main home as well, but the inspector glossed over the main home (just took a quick look at problem areas I pointed out) and just scrutinized the crawl space. The crawl space diagnostic was helpful, but overall I'd say value for the money was not great.

Mike was very professional. He arrived almost 30 minutes ahead of schedule. Did what he had to do and explained your options about what can, should, and would be done depending on the reason you are having it inspected and the location of the mold. His fee is reasonable. Lower than those that I had to choose from. I recommend him to anyone looking for a Certified Inspector.

I started out super happy with CSI and their services. They were quick to respond to questions and provide a quote but they ended up charging double for the service. We were told clearance testing was $300 (which is what our estimate said) then when the invoice came it was $600. $300 for the clearance report and $300 for 3 samples. We were told they misunderstood that it was for clearance testing (even though I had our emails indicating it). I understand that people make mistakes but they were not understanding and were rude about it and refused to honor their original quote. We ended up paying

We have worked with Samuel twice on our home. The first time was for a home inspection (summer 2014) when we went into escrow. The second time was last winter during the rain season, when we discovered flooding in the garage. He was excellent both times, always being meticulous, and never trying to up-sell any additional tests. He is also a father, and having two little boys ourselves, we know that he wants to make sure everyone is safe. We just went under contract on a new house, and I'm going to reach out today to see if he can inspect the new home!

I had a hard time figuring out which mold Inspection Company was the best as there are a number to choose from, but I ultimately landed on Common Sense Inspections and boy am I glad I did!
Samuel was exceptional! I could just say ditto to all the five star ratings here, he is that good. On time, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He explained all the issues, and he was very patient when he was answering my questions. In fact, his competitor in Pasadena (on Greene St.) did just that - took advantage of my ignorance. Just like the name of the service, Samuel used common sense -- and as a result saved me hundreds of dollars. Do not call anyone other than Common Sense!!!

I choose Samuel P. Dixon, IV based on the reviews that I read and I must say that I was very happy with the service. Obviously, he has no control over the results of the tests that his company performs, but he does have in his control to be informative, professional and prompt; and he was all that. While he was preparing his test, I had a chance to talk with him and he told me how he got into this business. I found his story very interesting and his forward thinking and his use of technology will take his company a long way.
