As a certified Life Coach, and founder of Ann Arbor's Life Empowerment Coaching & Healing Arts Center, I have had the honor and privilege of helping many individuals courageously, confidently and powerfully transform their lives. For over 25 years before my coaching career, I worked as a psychotherapist providing therapeutic treatment in hospital settings as well as in private practice.
This part of my practice is dedicated to celebrating, uplifting, and empowering women in mid-life as we embrace our radiant, sexy, sensual feminine energy, power and spirit! Reclaiming your feminine energy can, I believe, truly transform your life, allowing you to bring your creative, fully-expressed, vibrant self to the world.
I have worked with another coach, however, it was Maria's skills and supportive coaching that helped me to finally identify and take positive steps to freeing myself from a situation that was causing me a lot of anxiety! Before working with Maria I had done a good deal of self-discovery, but I was quite frustrated dealing with sticky patterns that I couldn't shake on my own. Maria had an elegant way of pulling out and giving voice to some root causes of the frustration. She not only guided me to relevant insights, but she educated me on the language and meaning behind the root causes- this made all the difference. Now, I feel empowered by my challenges instead of paralyzed. I see opportunity for growth in my obstacles and am motivated to tackle them with the new understanding. I have worked with Maria and it is quite apparent that she has a system that works! Maris is very approachable, has an open mind, and an excellent listener. When you think of a life coach you may picture someone screaming from a stage telling you to just go for it. The problem with this is that it doesn't address the root cause of the problem that may be holding someone back. Maria helps people help themselves through a very unique process. She helps her clients get to the root cause of an emotional or psychological struggle that is keeping them from really tapping into their true potential. When a client discovers this "cause" its like opening a floodgate. Maria has helped me work through some road blocks in my business which were really just struggles
