Services
Welcome to Sharon Motel, a family owned and family operated motel in scenic Wells, Nevada. My dad, Fred, bought the Sharon Motel in 1998 when he was 67 years old, and finally in March of 2016 he had to retire for health reasons. He loved the motel business, and most importantly, he loved his customers.
Wells, Nevada and the surrounding areas are filled with a variety of interesting places and activities. Here are a few of our favorites. The Western Folklife Center is a nonprofit cultural center that is designed to explore cultures of the American West. The center is comprised of two theaters, a gift shop, and a historic saloon.
Sharon Motel is committed to making our website as accessible as possible to people with special needs, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments. Beautiful decor. Check in was very accommodating. It's my first time in a hotel in Wells, Nevada and if it's your first time, make sure you book at Sharon's Motel.

Top notch experience. A rare 3 bed (2 bedroom) setup which was perfecto. Beds and room were clean. Heaters were effective to combat the 10 degrees outside. If we ever find ourselves back in the neighborhood, would definitely stay here again over a big chain.

Amazing hotel! The owner texted us asking about our arrival time and if our group had pets or any special requests. She even stayed up until 9:30 pm waiting for us so we could check in. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were incredibly soft. They also offer free coffee and hot chocolate in the morning at 7 am. I would pick this over a chain hotel any day. Well done!

Immaculate. Great towels. Cozy bed. Everything you need for a road trip overnight, plain and simple, at a great price. Loved the train going by, too. Happy as clams.

Older place, but decent condition. Small room. Overall ok except for the bed. It was very high and she had trouble getting into it as it was so close to the wall and high as well. Park at the door which is nice.

Its an older, outside-entrance motel. Was perfect traveling with our dog. No hallways or elevators to deal with. Very quiet.
Most people shy away from motels like this, but let me tell you - its clean, its quaint and no riff-raff.
The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. She turned the heat on in our room before we arrived.

This place is a gem on a budget. Quiet, except for an occasional train. Very Clean, bed is very Comfortable. Free Wifi. They had storm doors on each room. (nice air flow when you opened the window on the door) . They had a little setup for coffee, hotcocoa, tea in the morning. (which was very nice) I would definitely stay here again!

The lady running the front desk was friendly and helpful. Old school motel, but cozy rooms and super clean. Nice little picnic area as well. Was super happy to choose this place on our drive through Nevada.

It was our first time to stay in Wells and we were pleasantly surprised with the Sharon Motel. It was clean and cozy -- just as described by other reviewers. On a long drive from SoCal to Idaho, we arrived late at night after the office had closed. No worries, because the manager texted us with instructions and left the key along with a copy of our bill taped to the office door.
The beds were comfortable. All rooms are non-smoking. Free WiFi. Plenty of tv channels to chose from. Breakfast was a cup of hot chocolate, a bottle of water, and a delicious pear.
It is an older property; so don&apos

Passing through this little town for the second time on a road trip with my brother and cousin. We knew for sure we would book at the Sharon again! It was just as clean as I remember. Even the brick walls outside the motel look like they're power washed everyday..I can't make this up lol it's the cleanest place I've ever been! Super comfortable beds and great water pressure. Love it

This motel is WONDERFUL! We were going to get into Wells after the office closed so we called ahead and they were able to leave the key for us and run my card over the phone. The room was extremely clean and tidy. Bright white sheets and linens. Overall a hassle-free and relaxing stay that exceeded our expectations.

Very clean and comfortable!
If you're expecting a fancy hotel in the city, you shouldn't be staying in Wells!
However, this little gem is probably the best place to stay in Wells. Rooms are amazingly clean and very comfortable!

You can spend more money at the newer hotels by the highway or stay here and save a few bucks. It's clean and comfortable and cozy. This is one of the best maintained mom and pop hotels that I have stayed at. I like that there's a screen door. There is a refrigerator and microwave. Everything works, including the wifi. There have been some updates but it still retains its charm. Check-in was just wonderful. There's no breakfast but there's coffee and hot cocoa to-go as you hit the road. If I ever pass through Wells again, I would stay again.

A perfect throwback motel in the tiny railroad town of Wells.

Very clean. No smells in room. They do have dog rooms. No cats. No real amenities here except coffee at 6am. No pool, just a tired old town, that is hanging on by a thread. With the beautiful Ruby mountains and outdoor living nearby.

This is a tiny motel only about 16 rooms so a reservation is recommended. Beds are comfy a bit on the soft side but not tired, and should be firm enough for most.

A real gem. Everything worked, except the rest of the town's neon signs from yesteryear. Oh Wells and Sharon we wish you more skiers

We recently stayed at the Sharon Motel & found everything to our liking: Clean Room, everything worked, comfortable bed, nice size flat screen TV, hospitable hostess, great coffee in the AM, and directions to the Iron Skillet restaurant which has home made food!
