Marworth Alcohol & Chemical Dependency Treatment Center, an entity of Geisinger, offers a one-year addiction medicine fellowship. Accredited by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), this unique fellowship opportunity provides a broad educational experience in addiction medicine and is open to board-certified or board-eligible physicians from any specialty.

204 days today and enjoying all the Christmas festivities with my family even with the COVID 19 precautions!!! I owe it all to my Higher Power my Lord & Marworth!!!! During my active addiction I went in and out of many rehabs. This was the first one I ever went to, and many rehabs later, I’m currently 2.5 years clean. Marworth was by far the nicest, cleanest and best overall place. Very strict program but they do it for a reason. I only wish I had listened and followed the program when I left... but everything happens for a reason. I recommend this place to anybody whose actually ready to get clean. Unfortunately at the time I went there, I just wasn’t. This place spoiled me cuz every place I ever went to after Marworth did not even come close to being

Marworth is incredible!! You get out of it what you put into it. The entire staff cares about you and everyone knows you by name and takes the time to listen to you. It’s a judgment free place. If you had a bad experience there it’s because you made it bad! It was my first treatment center and I was so filled with anxiety and everyone made me feel a part of the community from staff to all the other residents. Cannnot say enough positive comments about Marworth. I will say this if you aren’t serious or are going with a negative or bad attitude or think you are above everyone else that is there

I was unjustifiably sent there for 28 days by my job, back in November 2009, because I suffered a bad back injury, on my job, that needed surgery, so my pain Dr. prescribed opiate pain meds, muscle relaxers and nerve blocks, until the city surgeons would authorize my surgery. I NEVER exceeded my prescribed dosages, even though my pain levels were still pretty high, because I DIDN'T want to get addicted. In fact, the night I arrived there, I had the bottles on me, and each bottle had more pills in each one, for that month, than they should have had, because I only used them when my pain was very

Sometimes I truly miss this place. I made such amazing friends and the road to recovery was the bright light at the end of the tunnel I finally reached. I took 2 stars away, 1. because you can't talk to the guys, i kept getting reprimanded for bumming cigs like it's rehab what else do you do there and 2. Marcy

Ok haven't even been there yet... Anthony at the front desk- I give him 100 stars. I'm due to come on tomorrow and am stressing. He was compassionate and understanding. If this is what I'm in for ... I would've come here last time. Anthony deserves a big raise because I was ready to give up, he we compassionate and lovely when no one else else picked up the phone although u say a 24 hour facility. Thanks Anthony I'll be there tomorrow because of u. U deserve a bonus for that. Thank u for caring

My husband and I had a lot of trouble finding him a nice rehab facility that wasn't crazy expensive. Marworth was an amazing choice. The facilities and estate are beautiful, the entire staff is so kind, and the counselors are great about involving the family. It was his first time in rehab, so he was nervous, but he learned a lot and really loved it there. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing. From the counselors and support staff to the kitchen and housekeeping staff everyone does an amazing job and really cares about your individual recovery. Marworth is honestly a five star resort and i highly recommend it for anyone still suffering. Please do yourself a favor and make the call.
