Excellent small location for a date or a small party. Vineyards are open to walk through during certain hours. Service is friendly and accommodating to service animals.

My family and I visited this cute winery during our Christmas visit to Del Rio. Service was top notch, Curtis explained each wine in our flight and answered all our questions. We bought a charcuterie box to go with our flight. We went home with two delicious bottles of wine to enjoy with our Christmas meal.

Hope to be able to tour the winery some day, but was able to purchase a delicious Muscat Canelli and the Staff was very friendly. This is the oldest winery in Texas!!👍

This is a beautiful winery with a modest vineyard. We got a bottle of port, which changed my definition of "sweet" red wine. So good 😍. Outdoor area is spacious (we brought a small tarp, picnic style), and we had a great view of the sunset. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're in town!!

No wine tasting availability. We did buy a bottle of wine and few other things. When we got home, found the receipt added a 15% tip. Since the only service was ringing up wine, feel the tip was out of line. Make sure to review your receipt before signing.

Oldest winery in Texas! Great space outside to enjoy a nice glass of wine. The staff made it special, since restrictions on tastings are limited due to Covid. Don't pass this place up when in Del Rio.

Great local attraction! Service is always wonderful and it’s very beautiful inside. This winery is actually one of the oldest in Texas. The wines there are personally too sweet for my taste but it is a good time and a great place to take a date or girlfriends. I brought my dad here when he came to visit and he enjoyed the wine tasting.

If you’re in the area... a must visit. If you sit outside to enjoy the sun, fresh air and the grapevines... make sure to take a flyswatter though

This is a great winery. My wife's uncle worked the fields for many years there. His name was Alejandro Sanchez & Elijio Sanchez. Their pictures are on the wall. My wife's family was born and raised in Del Rio. A lot of them have passes away but their memories live on.

Negative first time experience. Lady with shorter blonde hair working register was rude. A part of what makes an enjoyable experience is quality service. I did not feel appreciated and will not return.

Val Verde Winery has been on my bucket list for a couple of decades now since it's the oldest winery in Texas. My husband and I have been visiting wineries since he started chef school in the early 90s. so when I found myself 30 miles away, I said "Why Not?... I might not make it back this way again... " ... although it's just a little sad that he wasn't there with me...

~ BUT ~ I did bring him back a bottle of Lenoir with me for us to share!

The neighborhood is so interesting... wish I had time to explore it more. Driving through, I noticed aquaducts running all around

History of this place is amazing. The young ladies knew quite a bit. We enjoyed the wine tasting but would've loved to pay more if we could've received the glasses as a souvenir. We purchased three bottles that we tasted. Glad we were able to visit this during our stay in Del Rio.

Love their wine too bad they don't stock them in in the local stores. I always order by the case, they are fast in fulfilling their orders just make sure there's an adult to sign for the package cos it won't be left without a signature.

Had a nice time wine tasting. Winery was nice. But a little disappointed that they didn't offer a tour, nor cheese or crackers. The wines we tasted were all delicious. I think there was only one Teddy and I weren't too keen on. I tried Port for the first time and instantly fell in love!! Left there with a bottle of Chardonnay, the Tres Madres which is a Cabernet mixed with something else, delicious! And I got a Port. Like I said, fell in love with it! I didn't know it's mixed with Brandy. Very crisp, semi-sweet wine. Definitely a conversational wine. Delicious. All I could
